Where do we begin? When CrossFit SBR offered their children’s summer camp, I jumped on it and signed up both my children! I was just talking to other moms about how we wished there were classes or programs offered in our area that not only taught the fundamentals of exercise but gave them a foundation for enjoying a healthy lifestyle. There’s nothing worse than being a grown adult trying to navigate your health with no foundation. The classes are fun, competitive, encouraging and just the right amount of challenging! They really do learn a lot and I love that they focus on being strong and healthy (not on just how you look or what size clothing you wear). In just 3 weeks we’ve had coaches from the other sports teams we participate in comment on much stronger they seem and we never shared about the CF camp. The coaches here at CF are gems! They will love your kids, meet them where they are, set goals and stand along side them as they reach them! And I love how much my daughter looks up to Coach Jenn! She’s a wonderful strong woman to look up to and a great example! And you couldn’t ask for better owners who really invest in the people and community!
