Yesterday I had the opportunity to take Nicole's tower/pole class at Vibrant Pilates. Even though I'm an athlete and think I'm quite strong there are definitely some areas of my body where that is not the case. Nicole did a great job of teaching the movements, choosing the right resistance, and tailoring the workout to our specific needs. She understands athletes, and has a huge knowledge base of how Pilates can improve us. I also found the exercises to be fun, different, and mentally stimulating. During my teenage years, I was fully dedicated to soccer and dreamed about to be professional, but I broke my ankle and let my dream fly away. During this injury I've take a tons of weight until I become obese.
