A big player in choosing this facility was the “One Stop” shop atmosphere. I could workout and get the nutritional support to aid in my muscle build and recovery along with vitamins which help improve my overall health. There are also some tasty protein treats (bars) I would buy there to help me with my sweet tooth cravings and are just healthier for me.
The big gyms were not for me because I hated waiting around for machines because the gyms were so packed. Also, I would hardly see people wiping down the equipment after use. This made me cringe. I needed an environment that took cleanliness serious. D1 Performance and Nutrition was everything I needed! 1 on 1 personal training, well maintained and very clean facility which is super important to me with the COVID and Flu threat.
Not to mention, my trainer is the best! His positive energy is everything! Sometimes I go into the facility unmotivated (the Debbie Downer spirit:-() not wanting to workout. He gives me a little pep talk, reminds me of the fitness/health goals I set for myself and encourages me every step of the way. I leave there feeling renewed in mindset and spirit.

Love the Spin class and simulation. Not like a regular cycling class where you're staring at a mirror. You're watching a simulation of riding in the mountains (or other scenery) while you ride, but it is also instructor led. You see your bike on the screen, which moves at the pace you're riding.. Which makes this studio also visually engaging. She can set you up where you get an email summary on your ride performance, as well as a website where you can see your trends over time. Gretchen (the owner, who also instructs some classes) is awesome, I tease her all the time and tell her she's crazy because she gives you a challenging and fun workout. She's very personable and has great tips for new and experienced riders. There are two bathrooms with showers, and I always have fun! For folks who have kids, she even has a kids room in the back with some toys available.

Prior to each sessions I sterilize every equipment and workout station along with washing of hands for everyone, including myself.
