I've been a full time personal trainer since 1998. I've worked with clients at all levels from beginner to professional athletes and all ages from adolescent to senior citizen. My job is to help people get healthier and move better. My workouts would generally be described as functional fitness. They typically include stretching/mobility work, multi-joint exercises, core work, and some form of cardio. In 2020, the onset of Covid forced Ohio gyms to shut down for over 2 months. In that time, I temporarily transitioned my clients over to virtual workouts and began building my online business. I started my own YouTube channel which currently has over 150 videos uploaded to it. I deliver content to my clients directly to their smartphone via the True Coach app. This app is super easy to use and links videos to the exercise prescription for clear presentation of the exercises (many of which are my own videos). Within the app my clients can leave notes about their workout, send videos for form check, and msg me directly. I deliver my online workouts on Sunday, Tues, and Thursdays and I'm in my gym training in person on Mon, Wed, and Fridays. If we work together, you're dealing with me directly and I will make myself as available as possible. I also like to bring my remote clients in to the gym periodically to assess their fitness levels in person.
Communication is key. You have to listen to what the client wants. Assessments help me see where they're currently at physically. Customizing strength and stretch exercises helps me make them more durable. And knowing what to do when they get tweaked separates me from many others.

In the gym, I work with small groups of 4-8 people. Each client has their own station with their own equipment (dumbbells, barbells, a squat rack, a full selection of bands). This gives them the option to distance from others how they see fit. Everything is sprayed down after every session.
