Before I discovered Good Bodies, the only way I could describe myself was broken. My back hurt, my knees hurt, and I used my hands to help me stand up from a chair. The Good Bodies trainers work with me personally, and give me exercises and modifications that are specific to my needs – no cookie cutter routines that are given to anyone who walks in the door. One of the many things that make Good Bodies stand out is that they always ask how I’m doing, and if anything is bothering me. Based on my response, they come up with a workout and/or modifications to meet my needs of that particular day. As a result, my aches and pains are fading, my confidence and strength are growing, and I feel a refreshing sense of accomplishment. Even in the group classes, it’s more like a personal training session than a class. The instructors carefully make sure that each person is doing the exercise correctly, and they give modifications where needed. The classes are small enough that this individual attention can be provided.I have also used their Bod Pod in conjunction with nutritional counseling, to scientifically determine how many calories my body needs, and my percentage of body fat and lean muscle. They break the calories down into exercise days and non-exercise days, and they recommend what percentages of those calories should come from which types of foods. I find this extremely helpful in planning my meals for the day, as well as monitoring my own fat loss and muscle gain.Good Bodies has the perfect combination of knowledgeable, nurturing, and caring professionals, and I highly recommend them!

Columbus Fencing and Fitness has been great for our family. My son loves it and his younger sister can’t wait to start. I recently joined an adult class and though I’ve been watching my son enjoy epee fencing for a little over a year, it’s even more fun than I imagined it would be. And it’s a great workout as well. The coaches are great and the club is like a big extended family. Kids and parents alike will make fast friends. It’s a great environment, a great sport and apparently one of if not THE least injury prone sports one could undertake. I like that it’s individual, yet the students are part of a team/club. And that it’s as mental a sport as it is physical, if not more so. I see students helping one another and giving tips based on observations of one another. As an adult new to fencing, I very much look forward to my epee classes. My only complaint is that I can’t do it every day. It’s a blast.

I learned I loved personal training in college (I went to Ohio University and graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology). I trained professors and helped one of my first clients lose 10 pounds. This set my heart on fire. I wanted to help so many more people reach their goals. 3.5 years ago, I decided to take the leap of faith and start "Body of Steele" because I knew that this was what I was supposed to be doing!
I have a Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University. I am also a Nutrition Coach through ACSM. I have been personal training for a total of 6 years. Through my education, experience and own trial and error, I have developed a program that is safe, efficient and effective. You don't have to be in the gym for hours everyday to see results. I am a female owned business. I work on nutrition with you, teaching moderation and having your "non-negotiables". I provide accountability and feedback every week. I tailor your program specifically and diligently towards your goals.
I provide online training services that you can do anywhere and anytime. This is done through a fitness app. I customize the program for you. There are videos of each exercise. Nutrition help is also included- meal ideas, calorie goals, grocery lists, etc. There are weekly check ins for feedback and accountability.
I train at a gym that is only for personal trainers. I train in my own pod. It will just be you and me with no interruptions or "close quarters. I also wipe down each piece of equipment before we use it. If you feel safer with wearing a mask, you can (so can I).
