My ultimate goal as a coach and trainer is to build your competence, independence, and autonomy over time. I don't want you to spend a fortune on personal training for your entire life just to stay in shape (unless you're into that idea). I'd rather give you the tools you need and hold your hand at first, but build you up to the point where you're able to do this on your own, & WELL! That's the measure of true consistency. I was discharged from the Marines due to a "temporary medical condition" caused by overexertion and grueling workouts. I used to be a believer in the "more pain, more gain" mindset, but learned it only gets you hurt.
I vowed to study Exercise Science in college, earn my degree, and become a personal trainer. I learned that there's plenty of lies and myths that overwhelm popular gym culture, and people get injured everyday from those false beliefs. Even the simplest beliefs, like how you "gain" muscle, are plain wrong. I haven't met a single person in the gym who actually knows what causes muscle gain.
At the very least, people are stunting their progress with their workouts when they could be achieving so much more. With my scientifically backed methods, I assure you that you'll get the most out of your workouts when you work with me.
