He has been my personal trainer for much of that time, and I have taken hundreds of fitness classes with him as well. He is the best trainer I have ever worked with, taking me from not being able to even do one single sit up, let alone a burpee or push-up, to participating in gym Challenges that included all these exercises, HIIT bootcamps which I have learned to love, and making fitness a natural part of my daily life. His teaching style is easy and fun to follow. He has stuck by me when I had injuries or life stresses that made we want to quit, encouraging me but also pushing me when I needed it. More recently, when the pandemic began and all the gyms closed, Darryl posted daily workout videos & Zoom classes to follow, all at no cost to participants, and more recently led outdoor bootcamp classes. Not only have I been able to continue a fitness routine during these unusual times, I have actually increased my time working out, and along with diet have lost over 21 stubborn pounds. Now that Darryl has opened his own awesome space I can’t wait to join him there!
