The head instructor is nice and relaxed but has a vast amount of knowledge. All the assistant instructors are awesome and have great talent as well. I have never been to a Judo school in this area with 7 or 8 black belts on the mat at one time. From what I have seen there is almost always 4 of them and they actually work out with you and teach you at the same time. I love this school

The owner does not see dollar signs when you sign up, this is his passion and it truly shows that he wants to teach everyone martial arts. Awesome atmosphere with friendly owners and members. I have 3 kids with various activities so being able to go to the gym any day at any time is perfect for me. I enjoy CrossFit and Heartland has all the equipment and space I need. Being able to use the Olympic lifting space to focus specific movements is also a huge plus. Everyone is welcoming no matter what your focus is.
