Ryan is an incredibly intuitive trainer, and in general one of the smartest and most interesting people I've ever met. I am a long-time distance runner and came to find him through a referral from a cross-fit gym in town. I had developed some significant imbalances in my hips and found myself, for the first time in my life, experiencing chronic pain in my legs and back that was hindering my ability to drive and get around normally. Ryan started his diagnosis and plan from our first phone conversation, and from there we began working together weekly. He is a phenomenal teacher and works to improve all aspects of movement---the way humans were designed to move for thousands of years, not the way the trendy exercise fads of today say humans should move. After working with him for two years, I wake up now feeling rested, more limber, the chronic pain is gone, and the imbalances have drastically decreased. I continue to work with Ryan because I believe in him and what he does. I enjoy his company when we train together and always learn something new. Having him as a weekly guide has improved my overall health and well-being.

I have been dealing with a shoulder injury for the better partner of a year with no improvement. Over 5 sessions Greg worked with me to rehab the shoulder and on finding the lifting form that worked best for the anatomy of my shoulder. He wasn’t very knowledgeable about how all of the parts of the shoulder worked together. In addition Greg did some soft tissue work to help promote healing. I would recommend Greg.

The studio is really beautiful and clean. I like the instructors for the VIPr class. So my review is only based on my experience with those classes. The front desk staff are also friendly. I love the showers & linens service. Big fluffy towels are welcome treat after using their coconut shampoo/conditioner/body wash. I appreciate the attention to detail like lotions and hair spray. One thing I'd add/change in the changing room... There are no benches to sit while you dry off and change. It's kind of awkward. Admittedly this place is super high end so I don't go often. But definitely check it out if you get a chance! Sometimes they have great promotions.

All of the instructors at this studio are encouraging and super, super kind. I always feel motivated to push myself harder during class and to do better the next time I come in. As much as barre has made my body stronger, it has also helped me to be mentally tougher and more disciplined.
I was hesitant to go for the month of unlimited classes because I didn't think I would take enough classes to make it worth it, but I keep coming back for more. I like the vibe of this studio, and the exercises we do are always interesting and challenging. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone who has done Barre before or anyone who is looking to try something new.

Or it might be that they went out on a hike with their family and were able to keep up without feeling winded or sore the next day.
We actually started as a youth training facility, and my vision was to help young athletes feel strong, confident, and enjoy their athletic experience. Very shortly after we opened, I realized there were many adults who were looking for the same feelings. When we started holding adult classes, I found that it was just as rewarding, and we ran with it. For the last 8 years, we've been helping adults in the Ann Arbor area lose weight, feel more confidence and energy, and get excited about living an active life.
