First of all, exercise is so much more than looking good. Exercise is "medicine," essentially. It can help prevent diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes type II, obesity, hypertension and so many more! Don't forget mental health! Your body is meant to MOVE! Looking good may be what motivates us to start exercising, but all of the other benefits should KEEP you exercising over time! To answer your question: genetics, proper nutrition, hard work and dedication will help you achieve the best YOU there is (I personally don't like it stated as "body of your dreams").
I love working with people. I have been in this business 30 years and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else! When I see client's achieve their goals, it gives me great satisfaction. Recently, my 95 year old client was able to get up off his chair without using his hands on his thighs or pushing off his chair! He also can climb stairs now without holding onto the bannister with two hands to pull himself up! Incredible how we can gain strength at any age! As you can tell by my profile picture, family is VERY important to me, as I am sure it is to my clients. I worked in corporate fitness for Fitcorp in Boston for 10 years. I worked my way up the ladder to a Director's level position. I loved being a manager and learning about strategic planning and helping to run the company. However, I did miss working one on one with clients. Once I had my first child, I decided I wanted the flexibility and to get back to working with clients. I have had my own business for about 12 years now.

I have worked with individuals with heart disease, orthopedic issues, auto-immune diseases for example. I also love working with goldeners (seniors) on agility, balance, strength, flexibility and fall prevention (Able body certified). I am also passionate about what I do!!
