Everyone is so great here. I always feel very welcomed and my therapy sessions are thorough and professional. I mainly see Chad, who is wonderful and always takes time to listen and explain things/answer all my questions, but really all the therapists and assistants have been awesome and very friendly. I’ve been coming here for just about a month and my symptoms have improved so much. I really appreciate the home-friendly exercises they give me to do and the help with finding which ones work best for me. I’m glad to be feeling better, but I’ll be sad to leave when the time comes!

So I’ve never taken a Pilates class before and when I saw one was coming to Bel Air and they were offering a free introductory 30 minute class, I jumped on the opportunity. When I arrived at the class (which was very difficult to find because the GPS took me to the ulta in Bel Air, please know if you are planning to go it is located near the party city and their sign is very small), I was asked if I had brought the appropriate socks with me, I told the owner that this was my first time doing the class therefore I didn’t know socks were required and I did not get a notification that I would need to do them in order to do the class. I didn’t see anything on their website but maybe I missed something. She apologized that I was not informed I needed socks and told me that I could purchase the socks ranging from $12-$20 at that location. Regrettably I had to purchase socks because I assume this is a liability issue. However I was pretty upset at this point because I thought this was going to be a free class and now I had to shell out $12 for a pair socks not knowing if I would ever do Pilates again. So please be warned that you must bring a pair of Pilates specific socks with you or else you will be forced to purchase them there. When I went to go purchase the socks the employee started typing my credit card information into the system and then handed me the socks and said OK here you go without telling me the price. I said how much were they? She said 14.84 and the owner had previously told me they were $12 with 10% off which would’ve brought them down to around $11. Long story short, they could not figure out how to do the refund in their system she told me to go take the class and they would figure it out afterwards. So the class, the instructor was difficult to understand as she was not demonstrating anything on the actual reformer. All of us in the class clearly had never taken Pilates before and we needed more instruction. My main issue was that the class was only 16 minutes long! And afterwards they of course will try to sell you on everything and they mentioned that this was a 30 minute class, I wanted to raise my hand and said actually I clocked it on my Fitbit and it was 16 minutes and 18 seconds long. So now I’m even more irritated because not only did I have to spend money on socks that were overcharged, but now I didn’t even get my full 30 minute class. So after the class the owner tried to figure out the refund and could not in her system. However the reason I am recommending the studio is because the owner made it right. She could not figure it out so she asked for my phone number and texted me later long story short she ended up giving me five dollars and a lip gloss because she felt so bad about the situation. I am huge on customer service so this really made it right in my mind. However I think this review is very important because it important to let people know that you must bring a pair of Pilates socks or you will be charged and having to pay $11 or whatever it may be for a pair socks, I might as well have just paid for a class.
