Â I started working with Gunny to try to get in a routine and make sure the time I was putting in was well spent, 10 months in I couldn't be happier I did. Â Not only did Gunny's expertise add plates to my lifts, shave minutes off my runs and portions of hours off my rides, the real benefit is that it's not just some meathead trying to get paid to work out. Â There's a true interest in my goals, certifications in training and nutrition, and a genuine hustle to keep your workouts mixed up and effective. Â It's pretty rare to meet someone who brings the kind is passion to the table he does, but can also back up what he's selling. Â These 5 stars are every bit deserved.

Premier fitness has offered me the absolute best experience at a health club that i could possibly hope for. Their staff from top to bottom is always responsive , always sensitive to my needs , and always willing to give whatever it takes to make absolutely sure that i accomplish all my fitness goals. I've tried some of the other clubs like Elmwood , French Rivieria, and NOAC . I can say that the two major factors keeping me from joining these establishments has been overcrowding { too many members and not enough equipment or trainers} and an impersonal atmosphere that doesn't even care what happens as long as i pay their monthly dues. My past and current experience at Premier has surpassed all my expectations and i can confidently recommend Premier to anyone intrested in enjoying the best fitness experience possible.

I've been a member of this gym for years off and on. Since it's now Ochsner fitness center, there have been so many positive improvements that made me happy to rejoin. First, the staff at the front has been nothing but nice when you walk in. The locker rooms are clean with enough room to get ready for your day. I LOVE the additions to the cafe. They have a wide variety of EatFit selections that includes fresh fruit, protein muffins, and healthy salads and sandwiches. The cardio section upstairs is the same, and it's not hard to find a machine even at peak times. I love that the club now has more family friendly pool nights with live bands and games. A couple things I'd love to see added to this club would be rhythmic spin classes (similar to some boutique gyms in the city i.e. tourcycle and cyclebar) and some class times that are later than 6:30pm. Â Other than that I love coming here and love that my boyfriend will actually come with me to workout ! It makes for a great time all around!
