Honestly, if I ever have to leave Chicago, one of my greatest concern would be that I have to switch trainer, as I know that it’s very hard to find a trainer like Eric. Prior to meeting Eric, I had tried some home work out programs, group training, as well as personal training, but none were sustainable. The reason is that my energy level and health issues fluctuate and change unpredictably. On top of all of that, I have very little will power and I am very easily bored. :-( I was so happy to find Eric since he has a special knack for customization, possibly because working with injuries is one of his specialties. On many occasions, I only reported to him a new health issue on the day of the training, and he would be able to make a very effective substitution on the spot. Moreover, after observing my reactions for a while, he could now accurately predict which exercises I would enjoy and design workouts that I would find “fun” and effective. Due to Eric’s help, for the first time in my life, I have been able to consistently work out and improve. When we started, I couldn’t do a single push up, and now we regularly do 30-40 pushups in one session. My energy level (and hence life quality) increased. Friends and family who haven’t seen me for a while all commented on how fit (and hot :-)) and more lively I look. That’s why I highly recommend Eric!

Club Pilates just opened in Evanston next to Dollop Coffee. The studio offers reformer Pilates classes as well as TRX. I came for an intro class. The class was very much an introduction class (pretty easy and only 30 minutes) but it was a good introduction to using a reformer which I have never used before. We also used a springboard and bosu ball. The studio was clean and inviting and offers a private studio class if you're interested in paying $95/hour. The classes are pricey as well, but they seem to be on par with other classes in the area. As for the schedule, they are open from 6am-7pm 7 days a week with the exception that they don't yet have 6am classes on Monday and do not open until 8am on Saturdays and Sundays. They are still finalizing their schedule since they are new though so make sure to check online. Lastly, if you go remember to bring your sticky socks or know that you will have to buy a pair from the cute selection they offer. They won't let you in the studio without them!

I feel it is important to be approachable at all times, and to keep good rapport with my people. I am always trying to make clients feel as comfortable as possible while working with me.
First off, you have to have some sort of attainable goals set for yourself. Next, it is important to be honest and open with yourself, as that will be crucial to success. This will be followed with hard work and determination to stay consistent. Consistency is the key to success here.
I love to meet different people from all walks of life, and to hear their story and to learn their dreams and aspirations. Then to help them achieve these goals and get them to do things they never thought possible, is the real reward for me. I truly love helping others, and seeing the joy they experience when they have success.
