My husband and I trained with Malik for a little over a year and cannot recommend him enough! He was always courteous, on-time and consistent. Unlike other trainers that I've worked with in the past, he never let the workouts get dull. In addition to weightlifting, he was always bringing in something new to balance on, jump over or otherwise struggle with in our quest to get healthy and fit. We even did boxing for a while which was so fun! He was also knowledgeable and helpful when it came to taking care of ourselves. I have a bad back and my husband has a bad knee (getting old is so fun!), but he was so great about modifying exercises to make sure we didn't hurt ourselves and giving us stretches and exercises to help us feel better. We were so lucky to have Malik as a trainer and you will be too.

The Tennis and Fitness Centre has been locally owned by dozens of local families since 1983. The goal is to ensure that a recreation site such as we have, would be available to its community and open for years and years to come. It had been run by two previous ownership groups that were not able to survive the times. Current owners choose to take any profits earned to reinvest into the business, its programs and offerings, annual charities and in-kind donations.

I really like this place. The other reviewers are correct when they say it is a "mom and pop" place. I often see mom and pop (owners Steve and Laurie) around and they say hello with a smile.I love it because it's small, easily accessible, and the equipment is perfect for what I want. I think that this club used to be just a racquetball and tennis place. As racquetball started to fade in popularity, they took the courts and converted them into fitness rooms. They have a cardio room, a dance/yoga studio, a machine room and a nice free-weight room. All the rooms have a motif painted on the walls. It gives the place a nice feel and a little escape from your basic grey paint that is in so many other gyms. The equipment is nice and they have a great variety of different things to try out. They have a spin room and a Pilates room. They have every kind of prop you could ever use in or out of the classes. They really place their focus on providing LOTS of fitness options. There are people walking around, cleaning, everytime I'm there. My only gripe is that sometimes the parking lot is full in the morning and finding parking around the club can be a challenge.I still highly recommend it. It's a friendly place for regular people.

GO JOIN NOW!I moved to oak park over year ago and missed my workouts from my fancy Chicago gyms(lvac, wac and lpac) and went online to find a gym with turbokick and stumbled upon W3. Â W3 is a very solid value when it comes to gyms...for less than the cost of one speciality class at other gyms you have unlimited classes with awesome instructors. The women here are so real... All shapes, sizes and backgrounds and excited and pumped up to be there. Â I look forward to beings member for many years to come at a place that really makes working out fun. Â Come to turbo with Latoya on Monday's and Wednesday's or Bri on Fridays and you will be back every week.Deal Tip: Â They run tons of specials and offer free trial visits.
