I have been a personal trainer, nutrition coach, and entrepreneur since 2005. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and I am a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA. For 10 years I owned and operated several fitness training studios in the most affluent areas of Northern New Jersey. After selling my personal training companies, I am ecstatic to do what I love full-time by training and consulting with my clients one on one. My services include: 1on1 personal training & nutrition coaching. I train my clients via FaceTime & Zoom. My exercise philosophy: I believe for you to get lasting results you need to workout in a way that ultimately becomes fun and something you look forward to. This is accomplished by challenging yourself but not by crushing yourself during your workouts. Working out until you can't breathe or walk will give you results but that pace is not a tempo you can sustain for long. I believe there's a law of diminishing returns and it takes a real intuition on the part of a trainer to understand exactly how much you need to accomplish your physique and health goals. I know we can get you incredible fat loss results while keeping your joints healthy and keeping you injury free. My nutrition philosophy: You should only eat foods that you enjoy. Of course moderation is key. Diets such as the Keto diet and Atkins diet will allow you to lose weight. However, "diets" are geared to get you results quickly with little consideration for keeping those results. There are no foods that are off limits but those "cheat foods" should be eaten 10-15% of the time while 85% - 90% of the time you should be eating high quality protein, unprocessed carbs, and healthy fats. Some examples of this are grass-fed beef, eggs, seafood, ezekiel bread, berries, avocado, and grass-fed butter. And like I said....moderation....you gotta throw some pizza in there because who doesn't love pizza! :) My customer service philosophy: While running my personal training facilities I employed 20 trainers and served over 300 clients at a single time. My team mantra was we are not just here to give people a workout. We are here to educate, motivate, inspire, and deliver world class service. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I help my clients achieve their goals by first setting realistic timelines and expectations. The media and marketing experts have glorified speedy results as the norm when in fact it often times takes 6 or more months to actually create a habit you can stick to for the long run. 21 days to create a habit or losing 20 pounds in a month is a very short sighted way to look at fitness. After setting the appropriate expectations we can get to work on the tangible things that will get you to your goals.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition, strength training, and did I mention nutrition ;)

If you try to get the body of your dreams by just working out hard you will be very disappointed. Nutrition is the absolute essential pillar in the transformation foundation.

Number 1: nutrition.
Number 2: strength training.

What do you love most about your job?

My favorite thing is to watch the skeptic turn into a believer. Not a skeptic of me as a trainer. Skeptical that they can actually do it. That they can change their ways. That they can be consistent and find success as a new lifestyle vs an obligation or chore. When I see my clients start to enjoy working out when they initially hated it...that's so rewarding.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I love helping people one on one. I always have. I could have opened a large gym with thousands of members and collected membership dues from a bunch of folks that never came back and watched thousands of people walk in and never get results. But that would have been devastating for me to watch. I've always liked a personal approach to helping people. I feel this is where I can have an incredible impact.
