How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

If you're like many people, you've probably tried exercising before but haven't been able to make it stick. Maybe you get excited at the beginning and do your workouts for a few weeks, but pretty soon your motivation fades and you find yourself missing a workout or two, and soon you're back where you started.

With my programs, you'll learn much more than how to exercise, you'll learn science-based systems for building long-lasting motivation, long-term habits, a better mindset, and a self-identity that keeps you coming back to exercise no matter what gets in your way.

My focus is on helping you get strong both physically and mentally, so you can overcome obstacles and become the best version of yourself.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

There are two keys to getting results from exercise and other healthy habits: consistency and progression.

If you can exercise and make healthy choices consistently, you'll see incredible changes in your body and in the way you move and feel. Many people struggle with consistency. I can help by providing support, accountability, and motivation to keep you going even when life gets complicated.

You also need to be challenging yourself in the right ways to continue seeing results. This is where my exercise science expertise comes in. I'll teach you how to exercise smarter, not harder, using a scientifically proven system guaranteed to get you results. I'll also track your progress and help you keep making small but powerful changes that will add up to big results.

What do you love most about your job?

I truly believe in the power of exercise to help change people's lives!

I love seeing confidence bloom in my clients. I've trained many people who came to me feeling like a failure. They had tried to exercise before, stuck with it for a short time then fallen off the wagon. Many of my clients had been on this rollercoaster several times. Eventually they started to feel like they would never achieve their goals.

I've had the honor of watching them grow as they learned how to build sustainable habits and realized what they are capable of. I've been able to help them look better, move better, get more energy, and feel better about themselves. Many of them have been able to take those incredible benefits and apply them to other parts of their lives, becoming more patient parents, more productive in their work, and more connected in their communities.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked in the fitness industry for more than 15 years. In my previous role I was in Worksite Wellness, providing coaching and health education on a large scale to hundreds of corporate employees.

I missed the personal connection of being able to work with people one-on-one, so I decided to start my personal training business. Now I can really focus on each individual client, create programs tailored just for them and walk alongside them in their fitness journey.

I have an extremely high level of knowledge and education with my PhD in exercise physiology.

I also have 15 years of experience helping real people achieve their goals, focusing not just on exercise but also on the other things that are necessary for leading a truly healthy lifestyle like nutrition, sleep, managing stress, and many more.

Finally, I'm a kind and caring coach who truly wants to see my clients succeed and recognizes that each person is unique and is an expert in their own life. It's not my job to tell people what to do, I'm here to support and encourage my clients to live up to their potential.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I do provide online coaching on a case-by-case basis. In my experience some people are suited to online training, while others do much better with in-person sessions.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I train clients one-on-one in my small studio, so there are never any other people exercising during client training sessions. I thoroughly sanitize all equipment and have no problem wearing a mask if clients have health concerns.
