After many great hours skiing the mountain a friend and I called it quits and time to find a place to sit outside and have a few cocktails.We chose to check out the Hyatt's patio and I'm so glad we did. They had 2 fire pits going, one of real logs and the other gas. We opted for the gas fire with comfy lounge chairs all around.The atmosphere was great. The drinks were a little pricey ($11 for a rum & coke), but it was slope side and you're in Beaver Creek. We did score free & tasty salty potato chips. At 3pm Beaver Creek has Cookie Time, which involves free hot cookies, so we sent friends to grab some for all of us. Then at 4pm to Hyatt had free S'mores and that was a treat too! They had bowls of what looked like homemade marshmallows in many colors and flavors, baskets of Hershey's chocolate bars and graham crackers.So, our 4 drinks each cost $44 + tip, you are paying for the marvelous view, comfy chairs and S'mores. I plan to hang out here for Apres Ski when at BC.
