I'm totally impressed with this studio...so far I've tried Pilates and Barre small group classes and I love the instructors and clean modern atmosphere of the space. I especially enjoy the new Allegro II reformers -- this is the first place I've seen them. Also, at first I thought the pricing was high but when I bought a package the per class rate fell to below what I used to pay at my old Pilates studio. Eastbluff Pilates is easy to get to (easy parking) and just what my neighborhood needed.

I have lost 35 pounds!!! I stepped on the scale this morning and my eyes filled with tears. A few months ago my doctor told me that I was obese and needed to loose weight. Wow, I didn't realize I was that big... I was embarrassed and ashamed and realized that I was constantly making excuses as to why the number had gotten so big and why I deserved that chocolate or donut. For me loosing weight is not about being skinny. It's about being healthy and feeling good in my own skin! I want to be able to chase my son and play with him without getting quickly winded or feeling self conscious. So I decided to make the commitment and make the change starting with a personal trainer to teach me how to eat right and workout properly...
