I searched all LA for a good boxing gym for several months, I was looking for an affordable gym where I could come in at later times that came with a good atmosphere. Â Went to many of them, most closed too early for my schedule, some were too expensive, some just had too many egos roaming around. Â after all the search I did, I believe that I found what I was looking for here at Sweet Science!. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for what they offer compared to others. They offer several classes at no extra charge. They keep the students engaged with special monthly challenges and with special boxing events. Their hours are insane! a Boxing gym that closes after 12:00pm on Saturday is unheard of!. At Sweet Science, they pretty much close until u get your workout fix!. Last weekend I left the gym at almost 5pm on a Sat!. I've been going there for six months and so far I don't have any complaints. I have lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of energy! All in all - Give it a try, stay committed and you will see results!!Pros: Lots of parking on back, Great Boxing and MMA classes for beginners and advanced students, No initiation fees just a flat monthly rate. Â Great coaches committed to helping students reach their goals(I'm not kidding when I say that they sometimes go beyond to help you).Cons: its a bit small but it's never been an excuse for me not to get my work out.

Fantastic gym, highly recommended. The coaches and staff are welcoming, helpful, upbeat and skilled in coaching to all levels of fitness. The gym is casual and laid back, full of people who take fitness seriously but a gym community that is easy to fit into and not pretentious, which is nice. I was a Crossfit newbie and was able to ramp up quickly, with tons of help and coaching from the awesome staff and fellow classmates. I am loving CrossFit Rising Wave and I would definitely recommend swinging in and checking it out!

Jason is the best. When I started training with Jason I was skinny fat :) Never having been able to get rid of the stomach pouch but being relatively slim. I also had back concerns from injuries. He put me on a weekly schedule to build strength in core areas to support my frame. We built strength first with me easily besting my all time bench etc. The food program was awesome. I dropped a ton of fat and put on huge muscle gains. People I have known for a long time could not believe the size I put on which is what I was after. Also having shredded abs from this training was a nice result as well. I highly recommend Jason because of his knowledge, integrity, and just being an all around great coach. Thanks J.James Jordan
