Found out about this from a coworker and tried it for free as her guest. Â Let me start by saying I am horribly out of shape (can't ride a bike without feeling like my heart will explode). I loved this b/c it was like a revved up Curves, which I like b/c of it's mindless workout format. The Orange Theory session is 1 hour and a trainer tells you what to do every step of the way. You never spend too much time doing the same thing so it goes by pretty fast and avoids muscle fatigue. The best part: you wear a heart monitor thing that tells you via a computer screen in the gym whether to speed up or slow down. Â At the end of the session, it shows you how long you spent time in the Green, Orange and Red "zones". Â Orange and Red increases your chance of burning excess calories after the workout. Don't worry about keeping up with others, you can rest if needed. If you're out of shape, don't get the Unlimited purchase option b/c you'll never make it enough to make up the cost, you'll be too sore.

This place has truly changed my outlook on workouts!!! I’ve tried so many things and gyms etc. and this is the only place I’ve seen results in such a short period! The friends you gain is another amazing part! The coaches truly care about your success and you just don’t find that these days at regular gyms! They go above and beyond!!!!! 🥰🥰
I am an independent contractor at Pure Fitness. I hold my MA in Human Performance Sport Management from the University of Alabama. I am an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (the gold standard in my field) and am an FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist. We are a private training studio offering personal, small group, and large group fitness classes. I am a specialist in strength, conditioning, mobility, and athletic performance. We have an InBody assessment scale (optional) that reveals body fat percentage, skeletal muscle percentage, variances in the weight of the trunk and limbs, and basal metabolic rate. We also have the following: kBox 4 Pro TRX Cables Exercise Balls Boxing equipment, Kettlebells Dumbbells Gymnastics rings Sled Soon to have a landmine set up
Each client is capable of something different. I constantly assess, give feedback, and apply scientific principles to help them achieve optimal levels of fitness.
I use Functional Range Conditioning principles to assess joint mobility and health. FRC is designed to teach people to control the end range of their joints, expand the range, and create a new more supple, resilient body that is strong in every conceivable angle.
I also coach strength and fitness according to my clients goals using many different methodologies. I specialize in kettlebells and use a new technology called the kBox 4 that you only typically see with professional sports teams or large training centers. It provides variable resistance and allows each person to move according to how much power, mobility, speed, and strength they put into the machine. Check it out on my instagram @hayden_fcstrong
This is a rather silly question. There are literally endless ways to teach movement and fitness to achieve the ultimate goal of having the body of your dreams. The secret is to educate yourself or find a coach/trainer that never stops learning and seeks knowledge in things that they do not understand. It is imperative that you are committed to a healthy lifestyle but there is no blueprint for success. Try hard, possibly fail, and get back up again.
I get to teach people how to use their bodies in amazing ways. I believe everyone is an athlete and deserves the right to never have to say no to doing something fun with their body. I am inspired by my clients with Parkinson's and MS that tackle each session with joy and passion for changing their condition. I am inspired by my athletes. They teach me more about fitness and coaching than they know. I observe people changing their lives for the better everyday and they tend to think I helped them achieve their dreams.
This is my passion. I was a teacher and coach for five years. One day asked my students to write about their passion and realized I was no longer pursuing mine. I can reach more people using my unique skill set to inspire and create a better life. I genuinely love helping people. It is my purpose and I never feel like I am working when I read, train, or write about fitness.
I am infinitely motivated to improve my life and the life of others through movement, strength, and conditioning. I am well educated and well versed in my field with excellent connections in physical therapy and holistic medicine to refer my clients to.
I've worked with clients of all ages and have built lifetime friendships with each one. I love being part of a team and will do anything I can to help you. If I don't know then I will refer out to others who do. This industry is constantly changing and moving forward so I love sharing my knowledge with everyone.
I will motivate you to control what you can control and grow mentally, physically, and emotionally. Physical fitness has so many far reaching benefits that will change your life in positive ways so you can positively affect your environment and the people you encounter every day.
This summer I will become a TPI Level 1&2 golf training specialist (June) and StrongFirst Level 1&2 KettleBell instructor (September).
