A health diet is what gives people the ability to live their life to the fullest! Feeling good in our bodies is great for our careers, relationships, and overall quality of life. I truly believe that eating well is the foundation for a happy, healthy life!
I love helping people make small changes that result in dramatic shifts to their health and wellbeing! I love problem solving creative solutions to get people one step closer to their goals. As someone with a history of disordered eating, I also find great joy in supporting others in healing their relationship with food and exercise. Additionally, I love being active and encouraging others in their own athletic endeavors!
During college, I struggled with Anorexia. I ping-ponged from one diet to the next, certain I was going to land on one that would transform my body in 30 days, one week, 10 juices. I’m sure you’ve heard them all. After reaching a low place in my life, I realized my obsession was not only harming my body, but rapidly shrinking my life. Restricting left me listless and unmotivated to pursue the things that used to bring me joy.
After many years of yo-yoing through recovery, I began to view food as medicine and the fuel I needed to live a rich life. Learning how to properly fuel my body changed everything from my mental and physical health, to my relationships with the people I hold most dear. My desire to deepen my understanding of nutrition led me to earn a Masters in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. My hope is that through working with me, you can feel confident in the choices you make around food so you can live your most abundant life.
Because I get it! I've tried every diet under the sun and none of them generated the results I wanted. After diving into a Masters degree, I learned the science behind various diets, supplements, and ways of eating that I've leveraged to help hundreds of people reach their unique goals. Instead of giving you a cookie cutter meal plan, I create individualized plans that work for you and your unique lifestyle.
Yes! My practice is 100% Telehealth and you get to decide if you'd prefer video or phone calls. That way, I can reach people from all over the country!
I moved my practice to Telehealth during the Covid-19 pandemic and have remained 100% virtual since then. I provide video or phone sessions, depending on your preferences.
