4/15/07I went to Bikram Yoga Tahoe twice this weekend. Becky taught the first class and the owner taught my Saturday morning class and they were both great. The studio is right in the middle of Tahoe City and right on the lake! The studio is carpeted but it barely smelled at all, which was really nice. I didn't see the temperature go above 99, but that was hot enough. It's not a huge studio but there weren't more than 8 people in either of the classes I took so it wasn't crowded at all. There is a changing room off the studio lobby area but there is no restroom - you have to go upstairs to the mall part to use the bathroom which is slightly annoying if you had to use the bathroom half way through class but if you go before class you should be fine!They have a deal that you can go as often as you want for 10 days for $20, or it's $17 for a drop in class. They have mat and towel rentals for $2 each.I totally recommend this place if you are in Tahoe City and want to keep on your Bikram yoga practice. They get 4 stars because of the no bathroom in the studio thing and eventhough they have carpet I prefer the studios with no carpet! I'm going here this weekend and will report back on their Bikram yoga classes. Can't wait!
