Meeting new people and seeing different places. Even after 15 years of weddings I enjoy going out each weekend and being a small part of someone's big day. My assistant often makes jokes because I still get emotional at almost every wedding. We do not do this for the money or fame. We have a passion for music and seeing people have fun!
I was a nerd growing up and loved music and the technology that DJs get to use. I DJed a school dance in 2nd grade and with the help of incredible mentors and support of family I was Djing High School Dances by 4th Grade. Once I graduated 8th grade I decided to make it official. I applied for a business license and they say the rest is history! I enjoy being a local small business owner and giving back to a community that supports me.
There are the usual answers like- experience, we only use professional equipment or our knowledge of top 40 music. Those are all true of course, but the truth is we like to have fun too! You only hire a DJ for fun and exciting events so that is our motto. We have our professional side for business and formal events but we want to make the time we have together unforgettable.
