My wife and I got married 5/7/23 and we had DJ iSizzle as our DJ for the wedding. Leading up to the wedding he was very helpful sending us a template for what songs we want for each moment and was always very quick to respond with any questions we had. He was also very easy going and accommodating with some abrupt changes where we ended up needing him for not just the reception but the ceremony also. He arrived early the day of the wedding to set up along with his assistant who was very helpful as well. My Wife was pretty particular with her song lists and he executed perfectly. We are both overall very happy with DJ iSizzle and will be recommending him to anyone needing a DJ for any event.

Bob Caceres DJ'd for my wedding recently. I interviewed 3 DJ's, and of these, Bob was definitely the best choice. Before the wedding, you'll find you need to communicate lots of information with your vendors, and it's extremely helpful when they are responsive. Bob was willing to meet me and took the time to answer all of my questions. He exuded competence and came with a rave reference. Bob provided me with all the information I needed, and he did not complain when I provided the information he'd asked for in an e-mail rather than the provided form (which I'd misplaced). In addition, in the leadup to the wedding, Bob responded within 24 hours to every e-mail or phone call I made.
At the wedding, I thought Bob did a good job. The night was a blur, but I noticed the music playing at different times during the night reflected our requests. He was not an "in-your-face" DJ. Generally speaking, he mostly just played music as opposed to dominating the wedding and making lots of announcements. That's basically what we wanted. If you're looking for a really dominant DJ, Bob might not be the best choice, but I thought he did a good job.
My only complaint surrounds payment. I discussed payment with Bob on the Thursday before the wedding, and I thought we were in agreement that he would invoice us after the wedding for the balance. Instead, he demanded payment the night of. This was, in my opinion, somewhat classless. It was inconvenient and embarrassing running around looking for a checkbook the night of the wedding. Had I known he'd want to be paid the night of the event, I would have paid him in advance. In fairness to him, this is stated in the contract. However, I did not read the contract due to having discussed this verbally shortly before the event and agreeing on payment the week after. I suggest making very clear arrangements with Bob on this point. I considered reducing the rating to 3 stars because of this, but I think anyone else using Bob as

Keep the energy up by either playing songs that stay in tempo with the energy, playing popular songs that the crowd interacts with, or slowing things down from time to time to allow crowd to regain energy to keep the party going.

The thing I’ve been complimented on the most since starting this business is my genuine excitement for my client’s events. And it is genuine. Your event isn’t just another job for me. I have actually looked into being able to stream performances remotely. It will take some learning. But it is something I am definitely interested in. I never want distance or other factors to be the reason I can’t perform for a client.
