What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?

First off, I wish I could disclose my secrets to keeping the dance floor packed all night but then theres a slight chance my competition would read this and they would know my secrets. Although, I will share a few "tips" on how to keep the dance floor upbeat. The three simple things that will keep the party going are the type and style of deejay that is hired for the job. Secondly, the type of music that the deejays selected to play in their playlist, Lastly, the people make the dance floor packed depending on whether or not their dancing to the beat of the music. Allow me to break each factor down into detail . First, the type of deejay thats hired for the event should have an energetic and outgoing personality with the ability to interact with the crowd. Secondly, the type of music thats played should also be upbeat and energetic to keep the people on the floor all night long. Finally, the people need to be willing to get outside of their comfort zone and dance to the music and enjoy themselves which is the goal of the event. I love to see the people up and dancing having a good time because me along with everyone else feeds of the energy of everyone else. In conclusion ,those are the three simple strategies a deejay should imply when attempting to keep a dance floor packed all night long. First, the style of deejay, secondly, the music playlist, and finally the people.

How would you describe your ‘style’?

There are many ways to describe my style of deejaying, although I will give my top three. My style is energetic, versatile, and very deep in detail. Allow me to break each style down into detail. First, I pay close attention to the art of music and its many different styles and uniqueness. I am always listening out and staying up to date on the latest and newest release music. I also pay close attention to the billboard top charts and I even watch a variety of music award shows to know whose hot. Secondly, my dj styles energetic. I bring all the passion and energy to the event. For instance, I once did an event where my passion and energy was so effective, all the guest fed off my energy and began to dance all night At the end of the night, the event planner and all the guest thanked me for providing such a great time at the event. Lastly, my styles versatile. I love all styles of music genres.

What do you love most about your job?

There are several things I enjoy about being a deejay. The top three things are the music, the people, and dancing. I will gladly go into great detail about the top main three things I enjoy the most. Let me start by saying since Im a deejay its only natural that a love for the art of music be at the top of my list and that love of music be addressed in great detail first. My love of music began as a child. I believe I was born with a music loving gene in my blood inherited from my dad. My father loved muic and had a large variety of music record and album collection. We always had music playing in the house such as RNB, Jazz, Funk, and Gospel just to name a few. When I turned 8, I got a boombox with a tape deck player and started my own music collection. I recorded songs off the radio and sold the mix tapes to save up for deejay equipment. When I turned nineteen, I got a job at a record and tape store called Willies and began getting more knowledge of music experience. I was the best worker they had because of my love for music. On my off days, I would deejay all types of events such as house party's, baby showers, and cookouts where I caried around crates full of records. As time past, records became obsolete and digital music took into the new millenium. I needed technical training so I attended computer I.T. college. At college I learned digital music formats such as MP3, computer software audio programing, and online marketing. After college I got into marketing my deejaying skills online and expanded my business. The next thing I like about deejaying is all the exciting and unique people I get to meet. I come across a variety of different people from all over the country who are all different in their love of music. For example, I have deejayed for many cultures such as Latin, Jewish, African American, Caucasian, and much more. Each culture has their tradition of music genre they grew up listening to and are accustomed to dancing to. On the other hand some people enjoy a mixture of all the music genres such as pop, rock, hip hop, RnB, and Salsa. I enjoy when people get up and dance at the events because the people bring the energy to the dance floor. Also, the different people, bring different styles of dancing that I have never seen before which brings about a learning experience for me. At the end of the event, its the people who make me enjoy myself the most with all the compliments I recieve on how wonderful a job as a deejay I performed. Lastly I enjoy the dancing aspect of music. Dancing is a great way to help burn off energy at the event and have a good time. There are so many great dances I have learned along the way of deejaying from all the different cultures and people. For example, I was taught the Salsa, Rhumba and Macarina from an event. At another event, I was taught the electric slide and Cupid Shuffle. At a wedding I was taught The boot scootin boogie line dance. In conclusion these are the three main things I enjoy about deejaying whci include the music, people, and dancing.

What inspired you to start your own business?

There are three things that inspired me to start my own business. As a deejay, the love of music is at the top of my list. Secondly, I wanted to start my own business as an opportunity to help other people have a good time at their event. Lastly, the desire to become my own boss has always been an american dream. Most people dream of being an entrepreneur. Before I get into detail about what inspired me to start my business, I want to clarify that I deejay and have a business for the love of the art of music and not the money. First allow me to explain my love of the art music which inspired me firstly to start my own business. Music is my passion and love so I decided to start my own business doing something I love for hours. My next inspiration for wanting to start a business came from my love of people and making them have a god time at their event. I enjoy making people smile and happy at their event. I feed the energy of the people at their party and vice versa. Finally, the final thing that inspired me to start my own business was the idea of having the american dream come true. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and set my own hours and be my own boss. Although most deejays work primarily on the weekend, it gives me an opportunity to spend time with my family.

Why should our clients choose you?

I believe there are several reasons why clients should chose me to provide deejay services for their, but I will simply discuss in great detail the top three. First, I believe I should be chosen because of my experience in the career field of deejaying. I have over twenty years experience in performing at different events all over the world. I didn't always start off deejaying although, I slowly worked my way up to the level Im at now with hard work and perseverance. When Im hired by a client, I guarantee them I will try and work my hardest for them and all their guest to dance and have a good time full of joyful memories. The next reason I believe clients should hire me is because of my passion and knowledge of music. When I was young I worked at a record and tape store and was able to develop my musical knowledge genre in a way like never before. Being in a record store exposed me to several types and genres of music such pop, rock, hip hop, jazz, country, salsa, reggae, and more. Whenever I perform at an event, I play a wide variety of much that everyone can enjoy. That's the versatility as a deejay I possess. The next skill I posses which client should consider when choosing me as their deejay is the ability to keep the party going all night. There are certain attributes a deejay must have in order to keep the party crunk up all night and the dance floor remain packed. I can bring the energy to the party event unlike any other deejay. For example, I once performed at a military event that was for graduating students who were being honored for their great achievements. With my deejay style and playlist all the military had a good time and danced all night. At the end of the event, the sergeant complimented me on such a great job I did as the deejay. He even gave me a good review and invited me back next year for the next graduating class to enjoy me as their official deejay.
