Arthur was great and he made our wedding! Part of his services is that he sings during dinner (Frank Sinatra type music). He was GREAT and the guests loved him. It really broke up dinner. Instead of the guest having to sit there for an hour and a half, they were able to get up and dance.
Not only that, Arthur is a complete professional. You are not getting a DJ who is mindless and does what you say. You are getting someone who has been in the industry for years and knows what he is doing. He helped me choose what would be appropriate for a wedding and gave honest advice at all times. I can not tell you enough how he made our wedding.
My suggestion is to let him do his thing. I told him to play the crowd so people would dance. He did just that! The dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT! Even in our video you can see that everyone was up and dancing through the last song of the night.

KingSpins was amazing! We contacted him for a wedding fairly short notice and he was extremely accommodating and easy to contact. We were able to give him a list of songs we wanted to play during the wedding (including Disney music and uncommon techno songs) and he played them all! in my opinion the best way to keep the dance floor packed and happy is to play the hits ! respond to requests but I definitely won't play a floor killer ! no cheesy music, no gimmicks or air guitars ! and never any dancing behind the table!

Im the style of DJ that is there to play for the crowd not to be the center of attention or "steal the show" I'm working, not self promoting especially at weddings its all about the bride then the groom ! there will never be a banner hanging from the table, or cards out on display, no cheesy music and with the always important input from the bride and groom or the person throwing the party it will be a successful and memorable event !
What I love most about being a DJ for the past 22 years is making memories for the Bride and Groom the families and all who attend when I DJ! its a great sense of accomplishment to see generations of family members all out on the dance floor its one that not a lot of people can experience the way a DJ does !

There are many great DJ's to choose from out here , if i must answer this question to help folks decide , I would say the reason I am a better choice to hire than the last or next person is , so the biggest and most important i will list 1st ! I've learned after 22 years the best attribute for a DJ to have is to pay great attention to detail !! it makes all the difference ! but also i am an extremely dedicated person who wants to please my clients first and foremost , I've got a reputation of being very dependable , fun , very positive , with an outgoing personality , I can think on the fly and will always lend a hand and forsee any issues, while going over the plans for the event, my way of thinking is most of the time for a wedding, its the 1st time for a couple, so i must be aware that they may not be thinking of some details, that's always on my mind, I've also done so many extra things for people at functions I've saved a child from choking, I've noticed a grandmother who was having a health issue when no one else did, I've talked a bride down from going home! I've noticed smoke at a wedding that was a fire in the bathroom! (lit live candles under the paper towels) those are just some of the more serious ones ! but my overall focus is always making the night memorable for a lifetime!
