Well the average person will not know this and most DJ's do not do this. Preparation and what I mean by this it starts from having a workflow. Before you get to any event today's music requires you to set up the beat grid, tag the song and locate mixing cue points. Although this takes a lot of time and prep on my part. It makes a mark improvement in the over all performance and will help in keeping the dance floor filled.
