How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

"People do not decide their futures. They decide their habits and their habits decide their future"

Exercise form is dictated by the functionality and availability of the muscles. If you do not understand your body and how you move, how would you expect to activate and recruit muscle to help with your fitness goals? Typically, there is a disconnect between the mind and muscle because the body will naturally guard or force the range of motion to perform movements outside its capabilities. So, I work with you to build your foundation by providing you with the tools of learning how to efficiently recruit muscle and move pain-free by building movement awareness and direction which in turn will help you move better overall.

1. Phase A: Release & Reset – Building Your Foundation
In this phase, I work with you to help realign and reprogram your body through the techniques of self-myofascial release, breathwork, mobility, stability, joint health, and muscle activation needed to move optimally pain-free

2. Phase B: Compound Movement Education – Building Your Movement Exercise Database
In this phase, I assess every movement archetype from squat, hinge, lunge, push, pull, carry and gait needed to go through our day-to-day routines as well as working to build a personalized training database

3. Phase C: Personal Coaching Execution – Movement Mastery
In this phase, I educate you on how to put together the tools needed to reap results and sustain your results long-term so you can continue performing them optimally pain-free and on your own.

During your initial assessment and consultation in which I will assess the way you move, we will come up with a plan & timeline and discuss overall your movement goals, performance goals, aesthetic goals, and lifestyle/ health goals to achieve your desired goals.

Simplified Components of Fitness:

1. Setting Specific Goals: I work with clients to establish specific and measurable goals. These goals help me structure the workouts and provide the client with a roadmap to success.

2. Customized Workout Plans: Every client is unique, and as your trainer, I create individualized workout plans that take into account factors like fitness level, injury history, and health conditions.

3. Providing Education: I educate clients on exercise techniques, the importance of proper nutrition, and other aspects of wellness that will help them reach their goals.

4. Accountability: I provide consistent accountability by tracking progress, providing feedback, and making adjustments as necessary.

5. Motivation: I practice what I preach and serve as a source of motivation and inspiration. I help clients stay focused on the big picture and remind them of their "why" when the going gets tough.

6. Lifestyle Changes: To achieve long-term success, a personal trainer may assist clients in making lifestyle changes like increasing daily activity levels, improving nutrition, and monitoring sleep quality.

The exact approach I take as your personal trainer will depend on the unique needs and goals of each client.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

I think Jack LaLanne said it best, “Exercise is King, nutrition is Queen, put them together and you’ve got a kingdom.” Carefully choose the foods you eat, so the right combination of nutrients will help fuel you to success.

Additional Secrets:
Accountability + Consistency + Execution = SUCCESS
(A.C.E = SUCCESS)

What do you love most about your job?

I love sharing my passion for health & fitness and making a tangible difference in people’s lives. My favorite moments as a personal trainer are helping clients reach their goals from mobility, general health, sports performance, stress reduction, form correction, aging gracefully, etc. as a result of my personal training. I also enjoy seeing my clients take charge of their health and fitness goals with confidence after working with me. I feel most proud when former clients continue to pursue their health and fitness goals long after we have finished training together.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have worked for employers for over 10+ years in the industry and due to COVID and closures, I have decided that it's the perfect time to finally come out of my comfort zone and work for myself. I am very passionate about fitness and what I do. It's the only job I have experienced. I would love to share my passion for the industry with you as well as help you achieve your goals.

Why should our clients choose you?

“Invest in yourself now so you don’t have to struggle with day-to-day activities later in life”

I am not the typical trainer that offers sweaty workouts without purpose and a plan. My training style is about employing a functional, results-oriented, and scientific approach pain-free. I provide pain-free movement awareness + direction + programming and I teach you to move better, feel better, and be better by learning good habits first. It is all about preventative health care - form + function = performance + aesthetics.

“Age gracefully so your body feels as young as your mind does”

Reap the physical, mental, and vitality benefits by learning how to realign and reprogram your body through quality, personalized movements that will leave you feeling excited, empowered, and educated at every session.

“Learn to move & live pain-free so when you roll out of bed, you are ready to tackle the day by staying strong, mobile, and on top of injuries before they even pop up. By learning the right way, you would not have to stop doing the things you love”

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Dear Valued Clients,

I hope you and your loved ones have been keeping safe, healthy and of course, active.

Our governing bodies are requiring that all customer service locations have a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place with new policies and procedures to ensure Rachelle Brown’s clients and Rachelle Brown, the head coach, is safe.

Please see below the COVID-19 Safety Plan Rachelle Brown specifically laid out to ensure your safety as well as the safety of the head coach, Rachelle Brown.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Prior to your Confirmed Personal Training Session or Nutritional Counseling Session
• You will need to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire prior to each appointment you book with Rachelle Brown. This form is MANDATORY for each session and needs to be filled out prior to your service from Rachelle Brown. If Rachelle Brown does not receive it within 2 to 24 hours prior to your session, you will forego your session and you will be charged at a 50% rate. Please input a reminder into your phone to fill out your COVID-19 questionnaire. It has to be filled out 24 hours or less before your session. If you answer YES to any of the questions, your appointment needs to be converted to a virtual appointment or cancelled (you will not be charged any cancellation fees).

Gym Arrival (Public or Rachelle’s House)
• Only confirmed personal training and nutritional counseling appointments are permitted to enter. If you were driven to the gym, your family/friend needs to wait for you in the car.
• Please arrive at the gym no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
• All equipment use during your personalized training session or nutritional counseling session will be sanitized before and after each use.
• Rachelle Brown requires that you use the provided hand sanitizer as you enter the gym or the restroom to wash your hands before you begin your personalized training session or nutritional counseling session.
• I, Rachelle Brown, politely ask that you please wear a fitted mask that covers your nose and mouth for the duration of your personal training session or nutritional counseling session.

• Physical Distancing: Rachelle Brown will do her best to maintain physical distancing during your personal training sessions, but, if Rachelle Brown feels that she absolutely needs to correct your form and cannot do so verbally, Rachelle will ask in advance and will ensure that you and Rachelle are wearing the mask completely covering the nose and mouth. Rachelle respects each individual and realizes that not all clients will want to be touched, so, she will do her best to make form adjustments verbally clear and comprehensible.
• Sanitation: Sanitation time between each client has been scheduled at each gym and for Rachelle Brown’s personal home gym, Rachelle Brown is using hospital grade disinfectants (Vital Oxide) to sanitize all equipment, table, chairs, walls and all high touch-points, such as pens, light switches and door handles. Rachelle Brown has understood and is following all gym COVID-19 Safety Plan & Protocols. For Rachelle Brown’s personal home gym, I ask that you try to use the restroom at home prior to/ after your visit. If you happen to use Rachelle Brown’s personal bathroom, Rachelle has prioritized sanitizing/cleaning the restroom thoroughly after each use. Rachelle Brown’s gym locations do have restrooms available for use if needed.
