How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Together we will set and track measurable and attainable short term and long term goals. I provide personalized training plans specific to your current fitness level and goals that include exercises you enjoy. No one wants to do something they don’t like and with all the exercises out there, we can always find ones you don’t hate. My job is to help keep you on track, adjust as needed and challenge you as you progress.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

There is no secret, to make changes to your physique it takes hard work, consistency and patience. Fitness isn’t a sprint it’s a marathon, you have to find something that works for you and keep at it.

For success, key components include:
- Consistency
- Healthy (sustainable) diet
- Time (change doesn’t happen overnight)

This sounds easy but there are always roadblocks; whether it be lack of motivation, hectic schedule, injuries or a variety of other things, I am here to help you get through any hurdles between you and your goals.

What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing people’s progress! My favourite thing about my job is helping people make changes in their lives to achieve their goals; whether it be physical, mental, lifestyle or a combination, and seeing the joy when they succeed.

I love teaching people new exercises, whether it’s to address muscle imbalances, restrictions, improve strength and flexibility, develop strong, stable movements for injury resilience. Everyone is different and I love the challenge of finding exercises or modifications best suited for each person and situation.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started my own business to help people to surpass their fitness goals and expectation in an environment where the focus is on the client and their success.

Gyms are focused on meeting quotas and prioritize sales over the needs and desires of clients and often try to upsell and offer cookie cutter programs. I did not want to be part of an organization that makes money on people not showing up.

As someone who was involved in a variety of sports growing up, I suffered my share of injuries and struggled to find someone that was able to help me work through them. I became a trainer to be there for people who are struggling to find the right person; whether it's starting a fitness journey, getting through plateaus in the gym, or injury recovery and future prevention, I am here to help.

My job is to help you succeed, I have no pressure from a gym to sell you some overpriced program, my only goal is to help you reach yours!

The best trainer for you is the one you are comfortable with. I offer free consultions so we can get to know each other and discuss your goals and challenges and decide whether we would be a good fit.

I always to my best to encourage clients in the manner they prefer; whether that’s supporting you as you decide what you can handle or pushing you to do a little more, I am happy to adapt to what works for you.

I have been active all my life through various sports (figure skating, basketball, horseback riding, running) and as a result have suffered various injuries and learned how to recover to come back stronger and work on future injury prevention.
