It has been amazing to renew my yoga practice at this amazing, new, state-of-the-art studio! The team members and instructors are all very energetic, soulful and knowledgeable. The reception area is clean and bright, I love the spacious change rooms and really appreciate the newly installed in-line water cooler! The studio space is heaven with the infrared heat and cushioning floor.
My days are always better when they start at Oxygen Yoga and if I choose to end my day with a class, whatever struggles the day may have brought melt away in my mat while I lay under the Infrared heat in shavasana waiting for the class to start!

I work with individuals who are struggling to lose those extra 10-15lbs or gain that extra 5-10lbs of muscle. With a masters in nutrition and 20 years experience working with individuals in sports, general lifestyle training, pre natal and post partum, there isn't much I have not seen. I have personally struggled with a lot of what most individuals feel only they are going through. I was drawn towards weightlifting from an early age with the sports I took part in. But bad coaching and even worse advice lead me down an 8 year battle with bulimia and body dysmorphia. That is long past now, but it was difficult to distinguish which was more difficult to get past, the easting disorder or the poor self-image. A lot of my practice now is focused on helping individuals who are struggling with similar issue to my own.
One win at a time. So many people start their fitness journeys with setting a big goal, and that is totally fine. But they forget to break it down into smaller more mentally manageable goals. So they get stuck, fixated on that finish line that is months and months away. It's the reason so many never reach the goals they set.
