Not only do I get to spend my time listening to some of the greatest songs in history, but I get to meet a huge range of people. Every event is different. No two weddings are the same and corporate events can be absolutely riotous! Birthdays are some of my favourite parties to work with as you get to be a part of such an amazing diversity of styles.
I began by being into music more than most people as a teen. I realised I had a love for every genre and there didn’t seem to be anything I didn’t like or appreciate. I then purchased some music software and began mashing up songs. I shared them with my friends and they all loved it. I would then always be the one in charge of selecting music for car rides or house parties and it grew from there. I was a solo DJ for the first time at university and started working at the local bars and clubs. I fell in love with it. I was asked by a friend to work his Christmas party and that’s how it became a full-time job for me.
This event is your event. I’m here to act as MC, making sure the atmosphere is perfect and assisting you in crafting a brilliant time for all. Not everyone realises just how important music is to an event, even if it’s in the background and no one is dancing. It’s my job to cover those bases for you. I’m totally flexible with requests and will always run through the setlist and timings of the event with you beforehand. You don’t want the most active songs when people are primed for a slow dance. Music can help guide an event and I’m here to help you.

We the Dj is the most amazing dj I have ever had! He went above and beyond from start to finish. I had so many questions and he was patient, kind and would respond in the fastest way. Not only did he crush the music for our wedding he listened to everything we asked. Any songs we wanted he was so well prepared. Very efficient with planning and communication. He was very sweet. I couldn’t believe the attention to detail he had with my husband and I. I will be recommending and talking about him always now. Genuinely nice guy who did a fantastic job!

A Touch of Class DJs and Photographers were absolutely amazing! The music kept the energy high all night, and the photographers captured every special moment perfectly. Professional, friendly, and so easy to work with. Highly recommend for any event!

I want to express my appreciation for the attentiveness, professionalism, and adaptability of DJ Mikah D! I was tasked with finding a DJ for my Grandma's 85th Birthday Celebration, and I chose DJ Mikah because of his prompt responses. Throughout the week leading up to the event, he reached out multiple times to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible. We discussed the program and selected all the must-have songs, going over every detail. On the day of the event, he arrived, set up his equipment, and started the music, which was ideal since we had many other things to manage. I also appreciated how he encouraged our guests to dance and even led a couple of dances himself! He truly got the party started. Additionally, he was very adaptable to the crowd, playing several requested songs and allowing guests to participate in karaoke on the spot. I would definitely hire him again!
