As a high schooler that often faces strict schedule or a large amount of homework, it was always hard for me to find a time to stay active outside of school. I started working with Curtis when I was 13 I am now 15 years old. Over these two years, I have grown to be a much stronger person physically and mentally. Many people in my life have noticed my body changed whether it be people at school or family members, close or not. Every session with Curtis is a way to explore new heights in fitness, whether being able to lift with more weights than the week prior or learning and mastering a new technique. Curtis shows expertise in demonstrating the correct form that must be used to excel in a workout. Along with knowledge about weightlifting and form, Curtis is also a mentor. I can’t say enough about Curtis, an outstanding personal trainer whom I have had the privilege of working with for the past year. I was originally introduced to Curtis through our gym manager when I was looking for a trainer for my 15-year-old son. I hoped that working with a trainer might spark his interest in fitness. To my surprise, he connected with Curtis right away and became genuinely enthusiastic about going to the gym. One day, when my son couldn’t make his session, I decided to fill in—and I was immediately struck by Curtis’s exceptional expertise and approach to training. Since then, both my son and I have been training with Curtis twice a week, and it has been a game-changer for both of us. At 58 years old, I can confidently say I am in the best shape of my life, thanks to Curtis.
