This depends on each couple. Normally, we’ll take photos of the wedding preparations from the bridal party and the groomsmen, as well as before, during, and after the ceremony. We also offer add-on services if our customers want to photograph moments from their reception and party. Plus, they can choose whether they want a first look shoot and engagement photos in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
It normally takes between 2-6 weeks for us to get the wedding photos back to the couple. This depends on how many photos are taken and what format the customers want their photos. A lot of the time is taken up by the editing process, as well as organising the photos to be printed as a wedding photo album, if the customer requested a physical copy. We can normally send digital, fully-edited copies of the wedding photos back to the customer two weeks after the wedding.
For most weddings, I’ll take around 4000-5000 photos. I’ll then whittle these down to around 600 photos by selecting the best, before editing them. Once I’m happy with the edits, the photos will be organised into different folders, such as ‘Pre-ceremony’, ‘Ceremony’, and ‘Post-ceremony’. I’ll then upload them to a photo-sharing service. If the customer has asked for physical copies, I usually suggest that they select their favourite 100-150 photos. After they’ve made their choices, I’ll send the photos off to print.

Angela is amazing! She photographed my Mother-in-laws wedding and did a fantastic job! She found out my partner and I were also getting married and offered to do a quick photo shoot as a sample before the light was gone. The photos came out beautiful, genuinely breath taking. My partner and I have never gotten professional photos done for anything and have often talked about how hard it is to chose someone and the expense. Angela made us feel so comfortable and excited to be doing something that usually makes us feel so awkward and u comfortable, spotlighting us and being the center of attention. We plan to work with her again and look forward to more amazing photos and interactions with her!

Today, I had the pleasure of doing a Christmas mini studio session with JustShootWithSaumya, and the entire process was amazing! From start to finish, Saumya was incredibly professional and made everything so easy and enjoyable. She guided me through every pose with such precision, and her attention to detail was truly impressive. Her warm and energetic vibe instantly made me feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is something I really appreciated. I’m so glad to have found such an amazing photographer in Upstate New York! Since moving to Albany, I’ve been wanting to book a mini session with her, and I’m so happy it finally happened.
