A space that reflects you

When you hire a professional interior designer, you gain access to expert design skills, knowledge and ideas. It’s the job of an interior designer to work closely with you to understand the look you’re after. They’ll consider your own personality and style to ensure that the finished space is in line with your vision. This is your home and it needs to be unique to you.

From colour schemes and layout, to furnishings and accessories – a residential interior designer will have all bases covered. Your designer will help you to create a space that reflects the setting of your property and the people living in it.

A network of professionals

Another big plus that comes with hiring professional help is the network of professionals and resources they have available. This can help with lead times and also with cost. Your interior designer will be able to provide you with high quality recommendations to make your vision a reality.

A job for the experts

With your budget set in place and a rough idea of the look that you’re after, an interior design project is an exciting prospect. But often the choice at your fingertips can be daunting, leaving you not knowing where to start. How many tones of grey are there and which should you use for the kitchen? Does it matter if you choose marble effect or real marble for your table tops?

An interior design professional will be able to recommend the best options for you. If it’s your own home then personal taste will be important. But if it’s a buy-to-let property, then the latest trends may be more relevant.

What is a residential interior designer?

Residential interior designers are responsible for the layout, design, and decoration of residential building spaces. They manage interior design projects in private homes or investment property from portfolios. Most interior designers will hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interior Design. Although a degree is usually required, there are also courses in drawing and computer-aided design (CAD).

Why should clients choose you?

As a small residential design company, we’re able to be flexible and arrange meetings for almost any time. With three full-time members of staff and one part-time administrator, I make sure all projects are handled efficiently and professionally with a personal touch. We only take on work within our man-power. Plus, we all operate on flexible working hours to ensure that this is possible, with no compromise on quality of work. Nothing brings us more job satisfaction than when clients return to us or refer new clients to us.

Are there any additional services you can offer?

I offer project management services to run alongside and in the lead up to an interior design project. For example, project managing a kitchen extension before work on the decoration and interiors has begun. This is subject to availability and how busy we are, but it’s always great to be involved in a project from the very beginning. This can bring really exceptional results. It’s also helpful for clients who have busy jobs. Having one go-to person for all project queries helps to ensure efficiency, consistency and focus, so that nothing is missed.

Joelle is a very talented, patient and kind professional. She guided me through a design process for my NYC office with a focus on my taste, timeline and budget. The result is a look that shows both professionalism and style, combining them in a very tasteful way. Thank you Joelle!
