Me and a law school companion hung out our own shingle back in 2015 in order to bring a boutique and small shop feel to Southeastern Wisconsin, yet at the same time keep our operating expenses low, thereby keeping legal fees low as well. When he left for a non-legal position in 2017, I struck out on my own and McAvoy Law Offices was born.
I believe it is my use of the three "C's"- commitment, compassion, and communication that differentiate me from the other firms out there. From the moment I am hired, I commit myself to the case, no matter how big or small, assuming the result is right and just, from drafting a will to handling complex litigation and negotiations in the elder law setting. I try my hardest to show compassion for my bankruptcy clients- we have all had that one financial obligation go wrong, and it is my job to stop the bleeding and fix their financials so that one day they return for estate plans and financial legal options that I offer. I also respond personally to all emails and phone calls within 48 hours, keeping lines of communication open. I throw in the fourth C, charisma, as well- I truly love my profession and what I do.
