An iconic New Orleans luxury hotel where the glamour and grandeur of a bygone era is reinvented. Originally opened in 1893 as the Grunewald Hotel, the property has been under the Waldorf Astoria brand since 2009. At The Roosevelt New Orleans experience an unparalleled combination of Southern hospitality, world-class service and historic surroundings. Our luxury hotel near the French Quarter is within walking distance to vibrant attractions and entertainment.

I have never been to a Waldorf Astoria Hotel, but this was definitely a lot of fun! We purchased a two-night stay through Amex and got quite a bit of gratuities with our stay. From a 20,000ft view, this place had it all: proximity to the public transportation, (un)fortunate closeness to Bourbon street, a nice (but slightly far away) gym with wifi access, and super comfy bed with free bathrobes. The Roosevelt also has a rooftop pool that you can access for most of the day and a gift shop for all of your last minute shopping needs. I'm not gonna lie, this would have been a super expensive trip if we hadn't used our points, but you won't be disappointed if you stay the night.

The Pontchartrain Hotel was such a wonderful experience! It's placed right along the St. Charles trolley line, surrounded by beautiful homes and just a short ride from the Audubon Zoo and Park. The building itself is gorgeous, with both traditional New Orleans charm and modern upgrades in all the rooms. We stayed in the Thalia Family Suite, which was perfect for our us and our kids! The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. But honestly, the best part of our stay was the staff! They were so friendly and welcoming! They even learned the names of our kids and went out of their way to be kind and helpful to our family. My husband and I plan to return next year and wouldn't want to stay anywhere but the Pontchartrain!

I hosted a rehearsal dinner at House of Broel. It was perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous - an old Victorian house that has been meticulously restored and maintained. The food was outstanding. The staff was the best - they couldn't do enough for us. Bonnie Broel is the owner of the house and she is amazing - she took care of everything including several special requests. She made the planning so easy for me. My guests were raving about the event - everyone had a great time. I highly recommend House of Broel for any kind of party!

Such an amazing experience! John, the owner goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcome and comfortable. The house is lovely and has wonderful historic charm. Breakfast was great. The rooms were very clean. I would absolutely recommend this lovely Bed and Breakfast! Can’t wait to stay there again!
