I’m not going to lie, it was not complete smooth sailing - but Jimi’s professionalism allowed us to overcome some minor setbacks and he not only made the day remarkable. He came out to our rehearsal since he wasn’t booked to ensure everything would run smoothly day off and to ease my mind because we all know that a nervous bride can be a bit crazy!!
The ceremony ran smoothly and the music transitions were seamless between wedding party. He even worked hard to time our dip kiss to a specific lyric in a song we specified. His attention to little details for our day made all the difference and I will forever be grateful to him.

Morgan and Wells is a true treasure right in the heart of downtown Shelby, NC. Within walking distance of great restaurants and cute shops, it's perfectly located. Plenty of hiking trails are available for those who want to get out about. The inn itself is beautiful and lovingly restored. We stayed in the Melvin Maurice room and it was wonderful - comfy bed, great A/C, and plenty of space to spread out. The breakfasts we had both mornings were filling and varied - everything from veggie frittatas to cinnamon roll french toast to cheese grits, everything we had was delicious. Melanie and her team truly have southern hospitality down to a science and we can't wait to return!
