As maid of honor, I can say the coordination of this wedding provided me little to no stress. That does not mean I did not do my job. :) It only means Naomi was decisive throughout the entire process and ahead of schedule. The website was a fantastic idea, and picking her own domain made myself and friends never forget where to reference the day’s events and important details. Naomi is great at leading a team. I know this from our professional work experience at a high-volume retail store, and was reminded of this again during her planning. Selecting two day of coordinators was a great decision to execute the flow of her wedding planning. Both coordinators were engaged and memorized a thorough itinerary for the day’s events. At the beginning of the year, Naomi conducted a meeting to look over the floor-plan of her farm yard wedding and discuss operational needs. During the Summer, there was a maintenance schedule for the property to ensure her 200 guests would be able to enjoy all the entertainment and scenery. The day before the wedding, the flower placements were arranged by a team of friends and family and sourced locally. She knew exactly what she wanted, to the detail. Including handmade signs all over the property to help guide guests to the parking lot, ceremony, reception, dinner, restrooms, and sparklers ceremony. The photographers were outstanding and time efficient shooting all details on the grounds before the photo sessions began. The tent and table settings were all mapped out by Naomi. She is very comfortable with this since she has used the vendor previously when planning corporate events. The day of her wedding, Naomi was not stressed. Everyone knew where to be, and she said her vows under a 100 year-old oak tree surrounded by friends and family. Her wedding was private, beautiful, and hard to beat! I highly recommend her services. It truly was a blank canvas of well groomed acres, and a Pinterest theme out of a movie.

We were referred to Gretchen with Rocket Science Weddings & Events for wedding planning for our destination wedding last fall, and she was extremely helpful in managing the wedding process. We knew we needed a planner, because we needed help both with design ideas as well as project management, and Gretchen handled both. She sent emails letting us know what we needed to do and what was coming up, and she worked with our schedules to make sure we on top of making decisions, meetings we needed to have, and vendor contracts & payments. She also provided great ideas and feedback for colors, invitation design, flowers, etc. She gave us an idea book that was beautiful and right in line with what we were wanting for our wedding. Even though in our agreement with her, we planned to have only Gretchen come to the Bahamas and help with the wedding, she went an extra step and brought an assistant at no charge to us to help out. The second person, Laura, was invaluable. Now that the wedding is over, I have no idea what would have happened if we didn't have Gretchen (and Laura) work on our wedding. They organized our vendors, managed schedules, and Gretchen even helped us after the wedding was over with final vendor dealings. We are very happy we chose a planner like Gretchen for our wedding. I cannot imagine how stressful our wedding would have been had we tried to do it on our own!

Todd at Woodland Events is an incredible wedding planner! Of all the planners we have worked with Todd is definitely one of our favorites. He recently planned a wedding in Santa Barbara, CA which is where we meet him for the first time in person. And as the photographers for the wedding he planned, we couldn’t have been happier! We mainly communicated with Todd through email and he was always very responsive and courteous. He asked us how much time we normally needed for photographing different parts of a wedding day and he kept our comments in mind when he created the wedding day timeline!Before the wedding day, he sent us a copy fo his wedding day guide. It had the bridal party’s names, all vendors contact info, maps of the venue, ceremony layout, and of course, the wedding day timeline, with parts specific to us highlighted.The timeline had VERY detailed comments! Todd had actually planned the ceremony down to the minute. As photographers, this was extremely helpful because we knew exactly what to expect and when. On the wedding day, Todd made sure all vendors were arriving at the correct time, and he made sure that the entire wedding day stayed on track with time which is not easy! We would strongly recommend Todd as the planner for your wedding! And for any wedding photographers out there he was extremely easy to work with! We were thoroughly impressed that through the distance Todd was able to plan an incredible wedding!

Great service from start to finish. Staff was friendly, very attentive, deluxe pedicure was amazing with hot stones. Will definitely be back!

Meghan is the senior planner for Buck and Rose, and I am so fortunate to have her as my wedding planner. She is so organized, timely, and patient. I am definitely not a planner, and had I not found her I probably wouldn’t have started to plan my wedding for quite some time.
