I am originally from the Chicagoland area but am currently living abroad (in a time zone that is 6-7 hours ahead depending on the season). I worked with Thomas from the Miracle Brothers over a few months to get our Chicago-land area wedding together and I can highly recommend them.
He was professional, understanding, flexible, and nurturing throughout the entire process. He was useful to bounce ideas off of when I was sorting through things and really brought professional, practical, and useful insight into ideas that I had throughout the entire process. He was also helpful in finding great vendors to help us on the day.
On the day of the wedding, I was taken aback at how well Thomas executed our vision beyond our expectations with the information we provided. On the day he didn't ask any questions of us...and he completely took over so we didn't have to worry about anything. He even took care of us enough to remind us to eat and drink so that we had a good balance of saying "Hi" to guests, while enjoying the day and spending time with each other. Everyone at the wedding talked about how great and professional his team was!
One exciting surprise was how beautiful the ceremony arch came out. We ordered garlands and flowers from an online warehouse, did our own flowers and I had a vision that the garland on the arch would have flowers. However, the bouquets that I prepared were intended to be only on the chairs....and I kind of forgot about the flowers on the garland because there was not enough time to prepare the garland with flowers. Without me knowing, Thomas split the flowers up and decorated the arch and chairs with the flowers and it came out very beautifully! Better than I could have imagined!
I highly recommend The Miracle Brothers and am excited to see where their business takes them!

My husband always buys me flowers from this flower shop. Each bouquet is breathtaking and put together so creatively. Today, my hubs surprised me with a HUGE floral arrangement for our one year wedding anniversary. It was so bountiful, I had to split it into two vases. There are a variety of Gerber daisies (my fave), miniature sunflowers, lilies, and a mix of exotic blooms that I do not know the proper name for.The flowers from Ashland Addison last over a week so they are worth the money. They put support wire and straws on the flowers that tend to go droopy after a couple days. I love this flower shop!

I would have to say the part that I love most is wedding day itself and watching couples be present in the moment. Knowing that I have everything handled, they can relax and really take in their special day. I've been called a magician, a miracle worker, or a god-send by my clients and although I appreciate the praise - it is really not about me, its about allowing everything to go off without a hitch... for them.
A love for organization and events brought me here, the couples I've worked with and the satisfaction of making their big days come to realization, kept me going! I truly believe that the most important part of your wedding day is to fully enjoy it with those you love. There are so many pieces to coordinate and sometimes keeping it all together can be overwhelming. Im a believer in "everything happens for a reason" and over 12 years ago, the wedding and event industry found me. As an over-organized teenager, planning for college, my mother helped me realize that my natural intuition was to lead, plan and detail every piece of every event I came in contact with and that stuck with me throughout college. A wedding planner in my area saw my dedication to professional growth and I was ever so lucky to find a mentor in her; who taught me the ropes and ignited my enthusiasm of working with engaged couples.

In 2004 I became a certified wedding planner where I furthered my passion for the wedding industry.
