She took us through the planning stages of choosing the vendors, negotiating with the venue about the catering choices and logistics, and laying out the floor plan and decor. Two days before the event, she came to our house and spent a considerable amount of time helping me organize all the decor items I had purchased, identifying where they belonged on her site plan, and loading them in her car. On the day of the event, all we had to do was show up and enjoy. She managed the event in a thoroughly professional manner, even handling an unruly guest with tact and patience.
