Hey guys! My name is Micki and I am a wedding photographer in the Pittsburgh region. I love taking pictures and my favorite part of being a wedding photographer is capturing those small moments that no one else may catch - father of the bride crying during the ceremony, the shoes of the groomsmen. No detail is too small. That being said - the majority of my photos are photojournalistic - or not posed. That way you can remember the wedding exactly as it unfolded. Then, in addition to those photos, I provide a portrait session between the ceremony and the reception. This is where the bride and groom can get pictures with family, bridesmaids and groomsmen (if there are any), and of just the two of them sharing a little romantic time before the reception. My smallest package is 4 hours long, 1 location, and $1400. My largest package is unlimited hours long, unlimited locations, and is $2400. This package is a great bargain. There are also a few packages in between the two. That way, on the day of the wedding, I can work with the DJ to help ensure your day runs smoothly. Think of me as your side-kick for the day.
THE WEDDINGS OF COURSE!! I am a romantic person and I absolutely love being at weddings. It sounds so cheesy but you really can feel it in the air. It's such a special day! The dads are happy, the moms are crying, the brides are smiling ear to ear (and if they're actually a nervous mess I'm there to crack a stupid joke to lighten the mood ;-)) and most importantly my favorite part is seeing the groom's face when his bride walks down the aisle. It's magical.
My sister-in-law was on a budget for her wedding so she didn't hire her photographer to take pictures of getting ready. She asked me if I would take pictures since I had a nice camera and was a photographer by hobby. They ended up liking my pictures better than the professional's and she suggested I go into business. I started up my website the very next day! I love taking pictures, and I love weddings, and it seemed like a perfect marriage ;-)
