My name is Lorenzo Ross and I am a full time, five star rated, professional and experienced wedding photographer. I was born and raised in N.C. and I am educated and friendly people person. I have a love and passion for the art and photography and that’s why I'm the best fit to be your wedding photographer. First off, my background in photography stemmed from my mother and father who were both photographers I was inherited the love of photography from my parents and when I got older I also attended college and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. My photography education along with working side by side with my father as his apprentice and my hands on experience and over the last five years has taught me many photography skills. These skills include an in depth understanding of camera settings, photography lighting, camera lenses, computer photo editing and more. I have taken my experience and skills in wedding photography and traveled all over the country taking wedding photography pictures and meeting all types of exciting people. For instance, I frequently traveled outside of North Carolina where I currently live, to another state to photograph a wedding that turned out amazing. When the bride and groom received their edited pictures, they were very impressed with the high quality level of in depth detail that was captured of all the precious moments in their wedding album. I really enjoy working with a wide variety of people and cultures in wedding photography because it gives me an opportunity to learn about different cultures and traditions. For example, I have worked with African American, Caucasian, Latin American, Asian, and Indian cultures. I once did a wedding for a Jewish newly wed couple and learned about their exciting ceremony tradition. I have a detail process when working with new customers. I will first read over the clients profile to get an understanding of what they want and need for their wedding photography pictures. Secondly, I contact the customer online and let them know that Im interested and provide my information for them to research my credentials. For example, I once photographed a wedding with seven bridesmaids, seven groomsmen, a flower girl, and a ring bearer. Although this is considered a mid size wedding party, by using my social people skills, I was able to direct the entire wedding party in different locations around the venue and create amazing wedding poses. For instance, we took pictures near lakes, trees, and flower beds outside the venue, and inside the venue, we took pictures near the windows, decorations, and lighting. The final thing I want to discus about myself is the price chart that I like to follow when quoting customers a cost for my services. Before I discuss my prices, I want to clarify that I perform my wedding photography services for the love of the art of photography and not the profit. The first package is set at an affordable $800 and the most popular wedding photography package is only $1000. Both package involves me photographing the entire wedding and all its wonderful moments such as the ceremony and reception. There are so many things I love about wedding photographer that its hard to mention everything, so Im going to share my top three things that I love about photography the most. The three that top the list include the people, the event, and the overall experience.
First allow me to touch bases on the first thing that I love about photography which is the people involved in the event. I love to see people having a good time and enjoying themselves at their special event. For instance, when I photograph a wedding, I love working with the bride, groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girl, and ring bearer. Everyone's so excited about the day and I am so inspired by the energy that they bring to the day. The people are so cooperative with the process of having their pictures taken and their will to smile and pose for the camera. I once did a wedding where the wedding bridal party followed me around the venue to different locations such as lakes and fountains to take pictures. At the end of the day the pictures turned out amazing thanks to the combined effort of the wedding party.
The next thing that I love the most about my job is the event Im photographing itself. The events I photograph are fun and exciting. The venues I take pictures of are decorated so beautifully. Each venue and events decorated differently depending on the vision of the bride. For example, I love the way the wedding venues are furnished with flowers, and lights. I once photographed a wedding venue that had the most beautiful wedding arch in the ceremony area. It was tall, white, and decorated with flowers and fruit. This arch really made for amazing family formal pictures for the bride and groom. I get the opportunity to visit a wide variety of events and each event has its own unique venue decor. I really love this part of being a photographer.
The last and final thing I love about being a photographer is the overall experience of the event. I have had the opportunity to photograph and experience so many different types of events and meet so many types of different people. For example, I have worked with Latin, Jewish, Asian, Caucasian, African American, and more. I have traveled all over the country from North Carolina to Virginia and more. Meeting so many different people, and traveling to different locations has given me some of the best photography experiences. I look forward to continue travelling and meeting more people and different types of cultures and traditions. I love every part of these adventurous photography experiences.

At the end of the night the bride asked me if I could be flexible and stay a little later to capture the last dance and sparkle send off moment. I agreed to stay past the appointed time and as a result, I was greatly rewarded by the bride with a nice review and extra tip.
