I cannot even begin to explain how phenomenal Jim and his team at Streetcar was. Not only was he extremely attentive in our meetings discussing our wants/goals of wedding videography, but he genuinely cared about capturing our day perfectly and went out of his way to ensure his understanding of what we wanted to get out of having a videographer.
I didn't know Jim prior to hiring him for our wedding, but he managed to be more like a friend to us while still maintaining his professionalism. His attitude towards his career, as well as his passion for documenting our special day, made working with him easy. Upon receiving our highlight video 3 days ago, we have watched it well over 50 times...it is PERFECTION.
What's truly amazing is looking at all of the incredible footage, and we had no idea where or when his team was filming. My husband didn't even know they were at the Rehearsal Dinner, so he was thrilled to know that some of our favorite speeches and moments made an appearance in our highlight video. They're discreet and out of your way on your big day, which is more important than I thought. The last thing we wanted was a camera slammed right in our face the whole time, so it was truly remarkable seeing everything they captured. Let me tell you - - they didn't miss a beat. All of the moments from our wedding that we would have wanted to remember forever were shown.
Jim and his team managed to learn who the most important people in our lives are, and they made sure to include them in our videos. With a wedding consisting of 470 guests, I can't imagine that being an easy task.
I praise them for their hard work and dedication to our day, and will always recommend them. Our video has been "shared" on Facebook by many people besides us already, so that goes to show that Jim's work is one of a kind.

My Dad was a full-blooded Irishman from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland, my Mum is as Australian as they come, and I’m married to my Mid-Western American sweetheart. Add all of this together, the outgoingness of the Irish, laid-back Australianism, and Mid-Western hospitality: as a result I’m a people person - I love people. Meeting new people, making them feel welcome, and hearing their stories brings me joy. I love seeing people happy, excited and full of hope for their future. That is one of the reasons I think I've always loved photography, the ability to capture moments, to secure memories so they will never be forgotten.
As an eleven year old at our local grocery store I begged my Mother to let me purchase my first film camera, and have been taking photos ever since.
I studied photography and film processing in high school and got to work in a dark room processing my own photos from scratch. I upgraded my blue plastic grocery store camera to a used 1984 Minolta X-370 35mm film camera and spent a lot of money as a teenager on Kodak, Ilford and Fuji film rolls.
I think one of the amazing things about learning photography using film was that you learnt the importance of never wasting a shot, you took the time to get the shot right, because you knew it was going to cost you 50c per photo to print those things! Later on, when I was 19 I bought my first digital SLR and from that point on have been all about Canon.
I love photography, it's been a huge part of my life for over 24 years now, shooting at every chance I get. I've have been shooting photos professionally for 17 years and I'd love to be there for you, to capture the natural joy and excitement of your most treasured and memorable moments.
In the early 2000’s after shooting the weddings of some of our close friends, myself and close friend David Mannah co-founded phao photography which is today one of Sydney's leading wedding photography companies.
