There are several steps I take to keep my customers safe from COVID-19 when providing in-home beauty services.
I make sure to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a mask and gloves. I also encourage my customers to wear a mask during the appointment. Unless they're scheduled for a Makeup service.
I sanitize all of my equipment and work surface before and after each appointment to prevent the spread of germs.
I mostly use disposable tools and opting for touch-less payment methods, such as online payment options.
I also offer some virtual consultations as an alternative to in-person visits for customers who may feel uncomfortable with in-home services.
And lastly, I reschedule and/or cancel appointments with clients who are sick with a cold/flu until they're feeling better.
It's important to take precautions to prevent the spread of germs, both for the safety of the client and for myself who is the service provider.
