Find a Wedding Makeup Artist in Newton

5 stars for Haven & Hair!! I would highly recommend Haven & Hair to anyone in the Newton/Belmont area. Finding hair stylists can be stressful but Linda and her staff make it so easy to choose them every single time! Not only are they friendly when you walk in but they do amazing work and actually listen to what you want to do for your hair! I’ve lived in Newton for over 5 years and have been searching for a consistent place to get my hair cut and colored. Happy to say I have found it at Haven & Hair!

Lyndsay was extremely responsive. She asked the right questions to help decide who of her expert hair stylists was the best fit for me. She sent me pictures of Heather's work to confirm that I agreed with her choice and I couldn't have picked a better stylist myself. Heather was extremely professional, friendly, knowledgable and talented. I met Heather at Lyndsay's studio for a trial a few months before the wedding. During this time Heather showed me a few different options for braids once I gave her an idea of what I was looking for. She was flexible and patient with me as we tried each braid. There was no time limit and you could tell that she wanted me to feel comfortable before leaving. On the wedding day, Heather and Merci her assistant showed up early and ready to go. They were again very flexible, relaxed and accommodating. They didn't hesitate when my Mom said she didn't feel like her self with her hair pinned back. They took it down immediately and walked her through figuring out what she really wanted. For myself, I had a hair piece that I was torn about using on the wedding day. We used it at the trial but I just didn't feel like it was me. Heather could tell I wasn't sure and was extremely supportive. She told me we could put the hair piece in and if I didn't like it she would remove it and do the whole thing over if she had to! It felt as if she were a relative that day just trying to help me have the best day ever. And that she did. After trying the hair piece I realized I didn't actually want it. She fixed my hair and it was gorgeous! I cannot recommend Lyndsay Simon Beauty enough. If you want to feel comfortable, supported and relaxed on your wedding day knowing that the outcome will be beautiful, choose them!

I can't say enough about Janis! She was an absolute pleasure to work with. My makeup stayed on perfectly throughout the night while feeling light, clean and comfortable. And the best part was that I still looked like me. Janis does not cake on products in an effort to achieve the bridal look. Her makeup is flawless while still looking natural. I received so many compliments throughout the night and my entire bridal party was raving about Janis and how awesome she made them look. Not only is Janis a top-notch professional and amazing at her craft, she is also a genuinely nice person that truly cares about her brides. She helped me stay relaxed while working her magic. I was happy beyond words with the final result. I would highly recommend her to other brides. THANK YOU JANIS!!

If you want an absolutely great hair color you must go see Nicole.  Everyone at V&C is an amazingly talented stylist and I have recommended them to all of my family and friends.  I won't go anywhere else!

A pleasant place with an endowment and skill. My mother will be there weekly until she is no longer capable of going.
