I am absolutely thrilled to write this glowing review for this talented makeup artist! From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of amazing and I couldn't be happier with the results. She demonstrated a deep understanding of different skin tones, facial features, and unique preferences. Salome was punctual, organized, and made sure to thoroughly clean and sanitize all tools and products before and after each use. She took the time to listen attentively to my requests, offered valuable advice, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. Also, I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional customer service provided by Salome. She was quick to respond to any inquiries, flexible with scheduling, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction. I cannot recommend her enough. There are no words I can say to express how wonderful my experience was at Modern Love. Let me preface by saying I had the worst experience with my hair at another salon about a month before. The stylist basically took a color correction and made it worse. I literally had orange hair with a black ring around the border from the new hair and old. I was so embarrassed to even go outside in public.I was assured by Mandy Parrey, proprietor of Modern Love, that if I came in, Terri Collins would definitely be able to fix my hair to the perfect blonde it used to be. I was a little scared because of my previous experience, but I felt the minute I walked in that all my faith was in their hands.Not only is the salon bright and well decorated, but having music playing and having fun stylists makes this place so inviting. It was a long day, but Terri Collins worked her magic and my hair looked amazing! I can't describe how thankful I was. And the Olaplex products made my hair feel like silk for even a couple weeks after having it color treated.I definitely recommend Modern Love to anyone looking for a hip cut or style, or having your hair colored (or color corrected from a $250 botch job done somewhere else). Josie was fantastic!!! she was professional, prepared, on time and most importantly a really good makeup artist. I has some specific requirements as far as the look I needed for a professional web shoot. she exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend her!

I am usually very picky about my makeup. More times often then not I end up washing my face off and doing it myself when I have to get my makeup done for weddings or dances. I recently got married and a friend of mine referred lauren. I was very nervous so I had her so my engagement photo makeup first. She did such an amazing job. Lauren is really good at what she does. I love the airbrush it makes me feel like I have no makeup on and she does such a good job at blending in blush and bronzer and her creativity for eye shadow colors are amazing. She did my wedding makeup and not only did I look gorgeous all my bridesmaids were extremely happy with their makeup as well. So much so that 2 of them are using her for their wedding. Lauren is super sweet and easy going she listens really welll to what you want and does an awesome job of making it happen. Highly recommend her for any event even as big as your wedding day.
