Find a Wedding Makeup Artist in San Francisco

This review is long overdue! Alicia truly made a wedding in covid (December 2020) a dream come true. Due to covid, I only had my hair and makeup done. I did not have a bridal party or have my mom or MIL in attendance.Working with Alicia is like spending time with your best girlfriend. She has a calm and friendly energy that puts you right at ease. Alicia is super communicative at all steps, especially leading up to the big day (which is helpful because I can have a "reply" in my mind and not hit 'send' -- kind of like this review! I'm finally hitting send!). Pre-planning included sending an album to her of hair and makeup ideas and a video call to discuss what I had in mind for my big day. I had previously looked at Alicia's IG and YT and knew I was in the perfect hands. In fact, I did not even schedule a makeup/hair trial, which I know is recommended when you're finding your hair and makeup person! (I was also planning on shortened time). All to say, I knew I could trust Alicia! (and brides, please DO YOU and get that trial if you need it!)  Leading up to the big day came with a few challenges during covid (to say the least), and Alicia was flexible through it all and we made it to the big day! On the day she asked I arrive with a mask on and she took covid steps to the Nth level - sanitizing her hands, makeup and tools as every stage and of course she was wearing a face mask and shield as well. She got me done on time to give me time to get ready for our pictures. TL;DR: I LOVED my hair and makeup and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Alicia! I wish I could do it all over again (but without the covid contingencies). P.S. Alicia also referred us to our photographer, jguerzonpictorials! Thank you Alicia! Happy to be part of the Lau family with you ;). It was a pleasure working with you!

I love the decor of this salon and the layout. Surprisingly enough it wasn't difficult to find parking and it was certainly easy to find! I booked with this salon because I found a groupon for a $25 blowout and it was well worth it. I called before to find out if they could use the less damaging- boar bristle round brush instead of the typical metal or ceramic and they provided so I booked, and so glad I did! After the blow out the manager gave me a package with sample products and discount cards. The salon is really doing well promoting and making the customers feel welcome back and taken care of. I will certainly be booking here again!

I was so impressed by Lexi! She was very quick to respond to my initial email, and followed up on all my questions and concerns. I don't wear much makeup but had a black tie event and she did a wonderful job of making sure I was comfortable with what she was doing while making me look amazing for the event. I got so many compliments! My makeup looked just as good when I got home as when I left. I will definitely be a repeat client!

Linda is the best! She really takes her time to get it right. I always go to her for my haircuts. She always makes sure that you're okay with how much length she's cutting and doesn't push you to do anything you don't want to do. Thank you so much, Linda!

Linda (our makeup artist) was prompt, amazing and fun! She was very patient with my daughter (who has special abilities). Her makeup was well set, very natural and she got compliments when we were taking pictures. I would totally recommend and use this service again!
