The Dogwood Tree was started during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. We started our business with the intention of having more creative control over our designs, and to do this we wanted to utilize the farmers and growers in the area that supply fresh cut flowers through the growing season- something other florists in the area were not doing. We value our community, and as such we try to support the local artists and artisans by carrying local gifts and goodies on top of our locally sourced flowers.
The Dogwood Tree is unique in that we source from local growers throughout the growing season. Over 50% of our product is grown here in Virginia from April through November. We are detail oriented, and always looking for the freshest flowers for your event to make sure your day is perfect! We will work with you from start to finish, making sure your day is uniquely you down to the last votive and greenery. Don't know flowers? Not a problem! We are here to help and can walk you through the process with pictures. We love what we do, and we love making your day perfect!

Wedding consultations can be done over the phone, and our detailed proposals will make it easy for you to know exactly what you are getting for your big day!
