I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Diana at Black Calla Events! She truly made floral decisions so easy. Her communication and organization helped us so much throughout the process. Diana is not only a genuinely nice person, but she is very knowledgeable and helpful will all floral aspects! I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

Our family (currently, and for many, many past years) exclusively orders floral arrangements from Flowers & Plants, Etc. We’ve celebrated family weddings, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas & other special holidays & occasions with Chip & Sonja designing exquisite arrangements. My sister’s home always has beautiful flowers that Chip monitors and refreshes each week, as needed. I live in Richmond now but will continue to request their excellent talent and services!

Just bought THE healthiest, most beautiful plants from Lee's (neon pothos) and I saw a ton more plants I'd love to own. The pots, planters and accessories were also really nice. The shop is so beautifully arranged and decorated - it's a pleasure just to walk through the door. Last, but certainly not least, the service Marquita provided was outstanding. I'll be back for sure!

By far the most entertaining experience I've had at a florist in my life.  I was greeted as if I were a long lost family member as soon as I entered the lively and cluttered store on a rainy November evening in search of some tulips for the gf.  The smiling faces, colorful fresh flowers, constant hustle-and-bustle of pruning and arranging and just the LIFE of the place was a stark contrast to the cold street outside.  The husband and wife owner duo of Mr. and Mrs. Lee were an absolute delight and riot - Mrs. Lee playing the part of the stern but knowledgeable Asian matron to perfection, while Mr. Lee was her gregarious and jovial foil, often making hilarious and ridiculous statements to me under his breath (or at the top of his lungs) in a mix of Mandarin and English ("Chinglish") while he helped me pick out my flowers.Our conversation ranged from:* the best flowers for an amorous result ("colorful lilies make women want to kiss!")* an incredible recommendation, considering extra flowers = extra $$$ for the store, of less sometimes being more when it comes to flowers ("you're not trying to build a forest!")* a warning that certain flower pollens will stain clothes ("if you mess up her dress, she will not want to kiss!")* a five minute discourse from Mr. Lee on why Korean men tend to beat their wives and why Chinese husbands get walked all over by their spouses (this part was all in Mandarin and out of earshot of Mrs. Lee)Needless to say, my stomach hurt from laughing by the time I had settled on my flowers.  Ended up walking out with a bunch of gorgeous orange lilies and yellow daisies (which lasted almost a week and a half!) at a very affordable price. I'll be back for both the flowers and the fun.

Gino’s handled the flowers for my fathers funeral. I provided sample photos of what I wanted and all arrangements turned up absolutely beautiful everyone even the pastor said they work arranged at a next level. Everything was delivered timely and the communication with them was outstanding. I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed.

Philippa and her team created a luscious event using only greens, whites and natural elements for a June 2017 wedding (and rehearsal dinner) in Hot Springs, Virginia. Not only did she have to drive hours from DC to execute the arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres and more, but she had to do so in a rented cottage, with limited space and resources. She is truly and pro -- never a complaint. And the flowers, swags, chandelier pieces and greenery were stunning.
