I have worked with Gordon Sound for over 25 years now. They have grown to be an important part of the community. I like History. It all started out with Allen Gordon. I got to know him and the stories of the business. He knew the Housen family and took on their son Gus to work with. Back then a audio/visual shop and repairs. Allen said one stormy electrical night people lost a lot of TVs. Well he thought he would get a lot of repair business. So the modern era started, throw away the old and buy new. So Allen gave the keys to Gus and Allen went flying to Europe with Gus' Dad in the Antique business. Then Gus being into music focused on the music Industry of sight and sound. From bands, to schools, churches, festivals, and continuing to serve the Kitsap County fair from the barns to the stages. Somewhere along that time I met Duffy Williams who started to work with Gus. He Put Meatlocker studios into Gordon Sound where I got to record as well as many bands. It was successful. Then modern society came along and everyone could have their own studio in their home. Me too. Duffy continued to be the chief sound guy at Gordon sound. I don't know how many years come and went but Sunny and Gus got Married and also became partners in the computer era. Oh and had a beautiful daughter Lucy. They teamed and steady their business boomed. Wedding expos, booking, part of leadership groups, more employees, on the board for Whaling Days, DJs, to managing the Kitsap County fair. Meanwhile we moved from the Kitsap area and would visit Gordon Sound and the growing family annually. We fell in Love with JC. Chris became the main man there and like the entertainment business goes people would come and go. So thru the hills and valleys, Old school and new school and relationships they continue to serve and celebrate their smallness in a big way in the Kitsap area. Now Gordon Sound must go thru new tests.

DJ Dave was our DJ for both our ceremony and reception. Throughout the entire planning process, it was always so easy to communicate with Dave, whether it was over email or phone, you will not be worried about getting a hold of him with any questions you may have.
Also, you are able to go through and pick specific songs you would like to have in your reception playlist, which I thought was kinda cool.
But let me tell you, from a bride thinking we could get away with having an ipod set up to help save on costs. The purchase of having a DJ for your wedding, is something that proved to be way more important than I thought it would be. A good DJ will be able to change up the song set based on the mood of your guests and how the overall vibe is of your reception. They are also able to make announcements during the evening like which table can go through the buffet line to help with crowd control and other important announcements such as first dance and cake cutting.
Mobile sound Ent. has been around for 20+ years and you will not be disappointed with their service, they also have very competitive prices that will not break your budget.
