My wife and I recently celebrated our wedding in Astoria, NY, and we're still both in a daze from the great experience we had thanks to DJ Mike who took our celebration to a whole other level. DJ Mike did our reception and set the tone from the beginning until we had to make our vows. At the party, from the moment we stepped into the venue, the energy was high and he knew when to turn it on and off. My wife and I are actually DJs/Producers and Promoters ourselves, so we're very particular and I was nervous about someone else DJing our big day but obviously we can't do it so I really had to trust Mike and he delivered. He over exceeded my expectations and did an amazing job blending modern and classic Afrobeat hits, keeping the dance floor full and vibrant. He also played some of our favorite hip hop and R&B classics from the early 2000s. His ability to read the crowd was bar none. He did a couple sets; one that catered to us in our 30/40s and one that catered to all of our parents and their friends who are 60 and up in the beginning of the night. Mike's versatility and attention to our guests made our wedding feel inclusive. I've been to too many weddings where the older folks didn't get to dance because it was too modern and for me it was really important to have our parents dance to some of their favorite hits too. The presence of a charismatic host added another layer of entertainment to the evening as well, he's a comedian so he really had us rolling and sweating for real! All in all if you're looking for a DJ who can turn your wedding into a moment for life; I highly recommend DJ Mike. We're grateful for the atmosphere he created. I'm not the type to write a review for anything but from a DJ to another DJ he really held his own and that's an understatement. My wife also really wanted him to get his props because we want another couple to have the same experience that we did. I appreciate you Mike! Keep doing what you do!

Jasper did an incredible job. Came and set up, worked with me to pick songs that were appropriate and and even found the music that my kids were looking for at the party. Would definitely use him again for future parties

DJ SonDae did an incredible job at our wedding reception! He created the perfect atmosphere with a great mix of popular hits both Spanish and English. His ability to read the crowd was fantastic, and he truly made the night great. We highly recommend him.

We are still getting raving reviews about Elegancia Entertainment as well as our Master of Ceremonies, Kelvin. We met with Kelvin, the owner of Elegancia, about two months after we booked with Jericho Terrace. We hit it off right off the bat. Kelvin is beyond understanding of just how important your wedding day is but everything that leads up to it. He helped with so many details, ideas, musical notes, you name it, he suggested it. We also loved his personality. He was caring, straight forward, experienced, friendly and really became a part of the family. When it came to choosing music, Kelvin was in our living room hand picking each of the songs we had trouble picking. He helped with arrangements, picking the best setup for the bridal party, all from our living room. This is what I can true service. He doesn’t look at you as a client but family and knows how important this day is to a bride and groom. When we got to the big day, Kelvin was there by our side throughout the entire evening, grabbing drinks, making sure we were happy, making sure we loved all the music Matt his DJ was playing, everything. He was by far my favorite vendor and I will continue to keep in touch with him as he is now family to us. His DJ, Matt, was amazing as well. He reads the crowds and knows what is the best renditions to play. We have nothing but glorifying remarks for Kelvin, Matt and the entire Elegancia team. We also had a “crazy hour” and Kelvin pulled everything out of his vault for this one! We had a stilt walker and a giant 8 foot dancing robot. Definitely a fantastic edition to our night’s festivities. My husband and I were on the dance floor all night and we are still watching tons of videos our friends sent to us of the epic evening. Let’s not forget the Zapshot photographer! He was able to capture all the moments throughout the reception and then some. I was so happy to see everyone having an amazing time and Elegancia Entertainment helped make it possible. Let me also mention, they will help keep you in budget, will always be in touch and honestly, being friends with a great company like this is always a plus. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for entertainment for their wedding or any other event in their future. A plus plus plus in my book!!

We used Simply Entertainment for our daughters 13th Birthday Party - they were Fantastic. We had a photo station along with the DJ. The DJ played great music and interacted with the kids and the photographer took tons of pictures at the station and walked around taking candid shots. I would highly recommend them for any party!
